Object catalog

What Stacksync syncs in Xactly.

These objects sync between Xactly and any connected system, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution. Custom fields are picked up from the live schema where Xactly exposes them.

Orders
Sales order and transaction records loaded into Incent as the raw input for crediting and calculation; created and updated through Connect load and ETL steps (write) and read back for reconciliation, so read and write.
Credits
Crediting records that tie an order to a participant and position; system-calculated credits are read, while manual and adjustment credits are loaded through Connect, so read and write.
Transactions (Commission & Bonus)
Calculated commission and bonus line items produced by Incent's calculation engine; read as the output of comp runs for reporting and downstream payout, so effectively read-only results.
Participants (Payees)
Sales reps and payees keyed to positions; loaded and updated from HRIS/HCM source data through Connect (write) and read for roster reporting, so read and write.
Positions & Titles
Org-hierarchy positions and titles that credits and quotas roll up to; loaded and maintained through Connect (write) and read to resolve the hierarchy, so read and write.
Quotas / Targets
Period quota and target values per position or plan; loaded from planning tools through Connect (write) and read for attainment reporting, so read and write.
Payment Summary (Payable)
Approved payable amounts per participant per period; read as the output that feeds payroll and accounts payable, so effectively read-only.
Products & Customers
Product and customer/account master used in crediting rules and reporting; loaded and updated from CRM/ERP through Connect (write) and read for lookups, so read and write.
API surface

How Stacksync connects to Xactly.

The connector runs on Xactly's native API. Stacksync manages authentication, rate limits, retries, and schema changes so your team does not maintain integration code.

Connection
Xactly Connect REST API v2 (JSON), plus ODBC/JDBC drivers over the same ANSI-SQL data model. Incent data is exposed as SQL-queryable objects (for example xactly_order, xactly_credit, xactly_transaction, xactly_payment); data is loaded and extracted through Connect load/query steps and server-side ETL Pipelines. The base host is region/pod-specific (for example https://<pod>.xactlycorp.com).
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 via the Xactly Connect API Gateway (bearer tokens issued on behalf of an Xactly Incent user), with HTTP Basic authentication using a dedicated Xactly Connect service-user's credentials also supported for the Connect REST API v2. The connecting user needs Connect/API access plus the relevant object permissions in Incent.
Change detection
No CDC log for external tools to consume. Incremental sync uses SQL predicates on modified/last-updated timestamp columns (for example WHERE modified_date > watermark) against Connect's queryable objects, or scheduled Connect ETL Pipelines that pull deltas since the last run. Xactly Connect has no outbound HTTP webhooks, so change detection is pull/ETL-based.
Rate limits
Xactly does not publish numeric per-second rate limits. The Connect platform enforces query concurrency and long-running-query limits, so large extracts are paged and heavy loads/queries run as asynchronous Connect jobs (submit, then retrieve results) rather than row-by-row calls; batch loads are the supported path for high volume.

Use cases

What teams run on the Xactly connector.

Xactly is a cloud incentive compensation management (ICM) and sales performance platform, and Xactly Incent is the system of record for commissions and bonuses. It is owned by sales-comp administrators, RevOps, and finance. Orders and deal data flow in from CRM/ERP and participants and quotas from HRIS and planning; Incent then calculates credits, commission transactions, and payable amounts that feed payroll, AP, and finance reporting. Xactly Connect is its ANSI-SQL data-integration layer, so deal, roster, and payout data must move in and out reliably.

  • Sales compensation / incentive-comp administrators
  • RevOps / Sales operations
  • Finance and accounting (commission accrual)
  • Data engineering / integration
  • Payroll teams
  1. Load Orders and Transactions into Xactly Incent from Salesforce, a CRM, or an ERP through Connect so crediting and commission calculations run on current deal data instead of manual CSV uploads.

  2. Extract calculated commission and bonus Transactions and Payment Summary out of Incent into Snowflake, BigQuery, or Postgres for finance reporting, accruals, and payout reconciliation.

  3. Sync Participants, Positions, Titles, and Quotas from an HRIS/HCM and planning tools into Xactly so the org hierarchy and targets stay aligned with headcount changes.

  4. Push approved Payment Summary amounts from Incent into a payroll or accounts-payable system so payouts are paid from the mastered comp result.

  5. Replicate Products and Customer/Account master from CRM/ERP into Xactly so crediting rules resolve against consistent reference data.

  6. Mirror commission Transactions and Credits into a data warehouse to power rep-facing dashboards and comp-plan analytics without manual exports.

FAQ

Xactly connector FAQ

What can I sync with the Xactly connector?

Xactly's core objects — Orders, Credits, Transactions (Commission & Bonus), Participants (Payees) and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to Xactly?

Via Xactly Connect REST API v2 (JSON), plus ODBC/JDBC drivers over the same ANSI-SQL data model. Incent data is exposed as SQL-queryable objects (for example xactly_order, xactly_credit, xactly_transaction, xactly_payment); data is loaded and extracted through Connect load/query steps and server-side ETL Pipelines. The base host is region/pod-specific (for example https://<pod>.xactlycorp.com)., authenticated with OAuth 2.0 via the Xactly Connect API Gateway (bearer tokens issued on behalf of an Xactly Incent user), with HTTP Basic authentication using a dedicated Xactly Connect service-user's credentials also supported for the Connect REST API v2. The connecting user needs Connect/API access plus the relevant object permissions in Incent.. Changes are detected as follows — no CDC log for external tools to consume. Incremental sync uses SQL predicates on modified/last-updated timestamp columns (for example WHERE modified_date > watermark) against Connect's queryable objects, or scheduled Connect ETL Pipelines that pull deltas since the last run. Xactly Connect has no outbound HTTP webhooks, so change detection is pull/ETL-based.. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the Xactly connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in Xactly propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does a Xactly integration take to set up?

Most Xactly integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Xactly and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is Xactly data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Xactly data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
