Two-way sync
Changes in Shipwire or Xactly instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Shipwire and Xactly in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Xactly holds the customer relationship: the contacts, accounts, and deals a go-to-market team works. Shipwire runs the buying side: who placed which order, what they bought, and where it ships. The two describe the same people and companies, and when they are connected only by exports, sales answers questions without recent orders in front of them while the store works from account details that changed weeks ago.
Stacksync links Transactions (Commission & Bonus), Participants (Payees), Positions & Titles, Quotas / Targets in Xactly to Trackings, Rates, Orders, Products in Shipwire with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, order activity, and corrected contact details move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. A record created or changed on either side shows up on the other within seconds, with no CSV exports and no nightly job.
The shared entity is the customer, matched on email or an external ID, so both systems agree on who the buyer is and the order history sits next to the relationship instead of in a separate tab.
An email, phone, or shipping and billing address corrected in either system updates the other, so the next order and the next outreach both use current information.
Lifecycle stage, tier, or account owner set in Xactly syncs onto the customer record in Shipwire, so the buying side can act on how the relationship is classified.
Where Xactly tracks products or line items and Shipwire holds the catalog, shared items are matched on SKU so quotes, deals, and orders reference the same products.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Shipwire objects | Xactly objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orders B2C fulfillment orders (create, update, cancel, get) with item, hold, routing, and tracking subresources; typically written from a storefront or ERP and synced back with status and trackings. | Orders Sales order and transaction records loaded into Incent as the raw input for crediting and calculation; created and updated through Connect load and ETL steps (write) and read back for reconciliation, so read and write. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Stock Real-time per-warehouse inventory levels; read-only, pulled into a database or storefront so availability reflects on-hand and backordered quantities. | Credits Crediting records that tie an order to a participant and position; system-calculated credits are read, while manual and adjustment credits are loaded through Connect, so read and write. | Stock is specific to Shipwire and Credits to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Receivings Inbound advance ship notices (ASNs) from suppliers; created and updated via API and reconciled against Purchase Orders as inventory arrives at a warehouse. | Transactions (Commission & Bonus) Calculated commission and bonus line items produced by Incent's calculation engine; read as the output of comp runs for reporting and downstream payout, so effectively read-only results. | Receivings is specific to Shipwire and Transactions (Commission & Bonus) to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Returns Return orders raised against existing Orders; created via API and read back into support or analytics systems for reverse-logistics tracking. | Participants (Payees) Sales reps and payees keyed to positions; loaded and updated from HRIS/HCM source data through Connect (write) and read for roster reporting, so read and write. | Returns is specific to Shipwire and Participants (Payees) to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Purchase Orders B2B orders with retailer-specific routing and compliance fields; managed via API alongside receivings for wholesale and marketplace fulfillment. | Positions & Titles Org-hierarchy positions and titles that credits and quotas roll up to; loaded and maintained through Connect (write) and read to resolve the hierarchy, so read and write. | Purchase Orders is specific to Shipwire and Positions & Titles to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Trackings Shipment tracking numbers and carrier status returned as an Order subresource and surfaced through tracking.created, tracking.updated, and tracking.delivered webhook topics. | Quotas / Targets Period quota and target values per position or plan; loaded from planning tools through Connect (write) and read for attainment reporting, so read and write. | Trackings is specific to Shipwire and Quotas / Targets to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionShipwire notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks (HMAC-SHA256 signed, near real-time) on order, tracking, stock, receiving, return, and product topics.
DeliveryEach detected change is applied to Xactly as a row-level write, with types converted between the two schemas.
DetectionStacksync polls Xactly for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. No CDC log for external tools to consume.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Shipwire through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Authenticate Shipwire and Xactly with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Shipwire and Xactly objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Shipwire and Xactly: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Shipwire's Orders and Stock), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Shipwire and Xactly: Contact and address details stay consistent; Where Xactly segments customers: status travels to the store record; Where both keep product records: catalog and CRM products aligned. An email, phone, or shipping and billing address corrected in either system updates the other, so the next order and the next outreach both use current information.
Shipwire: REST API (v3). Authentication: Bearer token sent as `Authorization: ShipwireKey <token>`; up to two keys are generated per account on the Users and Roles page, refreshable/expirable, over HTTPS only (separate sandbox at api.beta.shipwire.com). Xactly: Xactly Connect REST API v2 (JSON), plus ODBC/JDBC drivers over the same ANSI-SQL data model. Incent data is exposed as SQL-queryable objects (for example xactly_order, xactly_credit, xactly_transaction, xactly_payment); data is loaded and extracted through Connect load/query steps and server-side ETL Pipelines. The base host is region/pod-specific (for example https://<pod>.xactlycorp.com). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 via the Xactly Connect API Gateway (bearer tokens issued on behalf of an Xactly Incent user), with HTTP Basic authentication using a dedicated Xactly Connect service-user's credentials also supported for the Connect REST API v2. The connecting user needs Connect/API access plus the relevant object permissions in Incent. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Xactly: Xactly Connect is genuinely two-way: Orders, Credits, Participants, Positions, Quotas, and reference master are loaded into Incent through Connect load/ETL steps, while calculated Transactions and Payment Summary are extracted out, so Xactly is both a target and a source. Shipwire: Stock and Rates are effectively read-only (inventory levels and quote estimates); Orders, Products, Receivings, Returns, and Purchase Orders support create and update. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Shipwire and Xactly without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Shipwire and Xactly records are not retained after a sync operation.
