Keep the paperwork with the relationship: Xactly and Egnyte share every customer's records and files in real time, in both directions.

Xactly holds the customer relationship as structured records; Egnyte holds the files that belong to those relationships, from contracts and proposals to signed agreements and statements of work. The two are linked in practice and disconnected in software: someone downloads a document, renames it, and uploads it to the right folder, or exports records out to storage for retention. Done by hand, files drift away from the records they belong to and copies fall out of date.

Stacksync keeps Participants (Payees), Positions & Titles, Quotas / Targets, Payment Summary (Payable) in Xactly aligned with Metadata, Events and Audit reports, Files, Folders in Egnyte, in real time. A new account or deal can open its own folder in Egnyte; a document filed in Egnyte can surface as a link and metadata on the matching record in Xactly; and records from Xactly can be written into Egnyte as files or objects for backup, archival, and compliance. You choose which side owns what, and Stacksync keeps the two consistent as either one changes.

When an account or deal is created in Xactly, a matching folder or container opens in Egnyte, named and organized the same way, so files have a home the moment they are needed.

Documents linked back to the record

A contract, proposal, or signed agreement filed in Egnyte surfaces as a link on the matching record in Xactly, so the customer's paperwork sits with the relationship instead of a shared drive.

CRM records archived into storage

Records from Xactly are written into Egnyte as files or objects on the schedule you set, giving you a durable copy for backup, retention, and compliance without an export to run by hand.

Products & Customers Product and customer/account master used in crediting rules and reporting; loaded and updated from CRM/ERP through Connect (write) and read for lookups, so read and write. Permissions is specific to Egnyte and Products & Customers to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Links Shared file and folder links created, listed, and revoked via the Links API; useful for governing and auditing external sharing. Orders Sales order and transaction records loaded into Incent as the raw input for crediting and calculation; created and updated through Connect load and ETL steps (write) and read back for reconciliation, so read and write. How changes propagate between Egnyte and Xactly

DetectionEgnyte notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Events API polled with an incremental cursor (Egnyte recommends an interval of 5 minutes or more), or Webhooks push notifications for fs, metadata,.

DeliveryEach detected change is applied to Xactly as a row-level write, with types converted between the two schemas.

Xactly Egnyte Interval-based propagation

DetectionStacksync polls Xactly for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. No CDC log for external tools to consume.

DeliveryEach detected change is written to Egnyte through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Rate-limit considerations

  • Egnyte: Auto-generated keys default to 2 requests/second and 1,000 requests/day, enforced per access token; monitor X-Accesstoken-Qps-Current/Allotted and X-Accesstoken-Quota-Current headers; higher limits on request.
  • Xactly: Xactly does not publish numeric per-second rate limits. The Connect platform enforces query concurrency and long-running-query limits, so large extracts are paged and heavy loads/queries run as asynchronous Connect jobs (submit, then retrieve results) rather than row-by-row calls; batch loads are the supported path for high volume.

Xactly

Integration surface
Xactly Connect REST API v2 (JSON), plus ODBC/JDBC drivers over the same ANSI-SQL data model. Incent data is exposed as SQL-queryable objects (for example xactly_order, xactly_credit, xactly_transaction, xactly_payment); data is loaded and extracted through Connect load/query steps and server-side ETL Pipelines. The base host is region/pod-specific (for example https://<pod>.xactlycorp.com).
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 via the Xactly Connect API Gateway (bearer tokens issued on behalf of an Xactly Incent user), with HTTP Basic authentication using a dedicated Xactly Connect service-user's credentials also supported for the Connect REST API v2. The connecting user needs Connect/API access plus the relevant object permissions in Incent.
Change detection
No CDC log for external tools to consume. Incremental sync uses SQL predicates on modified/last-updated timestamp columns (for example WHERE modified_date > watermark) against Connect's queryable objects, or scheduled Connect ETL Pipelines that pull deltas since the last run. Xactly Connect has no outbound HTTP webhooks, so change detection is pull/ETL-based.
