Two-way sync
Changes in Docusign or Xactly instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Docusign and Xactly in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
The CRM is supposed to be the record of every customer relationship, but customer-relevant information also accumulates in the other tools a team runs. Whatever Docusign holds or produces that touches a customer, whether conversations, payments, replies, enriched data, or notes, the CRM only benefits if it arrives without someone copying it over.
Stacksync connects Templates, Tabs (form fields), Envelope Custom Fields, Folders in Docusign to Orders, Credits, Transactions (Commission & Bonus), Participants (Payees) in Xactly with bi-directional, real-time sync. Activity and record changes in Docusign update the matching contact or account in Xactly, and CRM data flows the other way wherever Docusign can store and use it.
Enriched fields land directly on records in Xactly, and refreshes keep them from going stale.
Owner, lifecycle stage, or account details from Xactly sync into Docusign, so people working there have the context without switching tools.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Docusign objects | Xactly objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Envelopes The core container for a signature request — documents, recipients, routing, and status; read status and metadata two-way, and create/send new envelopes. | Orders Sales order and transaction records loaded into Incent as the raw input for crediting and calculation; created and updated through Connect load and ETL steps (write) and read back for reconciliation, so read and write. | Envelopes is specific to Docusign and Orders to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Recipients Signers, carbon copies, and agents on an envelope, each with a routing order and status; read recipient progress, write recipient lists when an envelope is created. | Credits Crediting records that tie an order to a participant and position; system-calculated credits are read, while manual and adjustment credits are loaded through Connect, so read and write. | Recipients is specific to Docusign and Credits to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Documents The PDF files inside an envelope plus the certificate of completion; read signed output out to a store, or supply source documents on create. | Transactions (Commission & Bonus) Calculated commission and bonus line items produced by Incent's calculation engine; read as the output of comp runs for reporting and downstream payout, so effectively read-only results. | Documents is specific to Docusign and Transactions (Commission & Bonus) to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Templates Reusable envelope definitions with predefined recipients and tab placement; read to map fields and referenced by ID to generate new envelopes. | Participants (Payees) Sales reps and payees keyed to positions; loaded and updated from HRIS/HCM source data through Connect (write) and read for roster reporting, so read and write. | Templates is specific to Docusign and Participants (Payees) to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Tabs (form fields) Signature, initial, date, text, and checkbox fields on a document; they carry the data a signer entered and are read out into databases. | Positions & Titles Org-hierarchy positions and titles that credits and quotas roll up to; loaded and maintained through Connect (write) and read to resolve the hierarchy, so read and write. | Tabs (form fields) is specific to Docusign and Positions & Titles to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Envelope Custom Fields Text and list metadata used to tag envelopes for reporting; synced to a warehouse or CRM to key and categorize agreements. | Quotas / Targets Period quota and target values per position or plan; loaded from planning tools through Connect (write) and read for attainment reporting, so read and write. | Envelope Custom Fields is specific to Docusign and Quotas / Targets to Xactly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionDocusign notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Docusign Connect webhooks push envelope and recipient status-change events in real time.
DeliveryEach detected change is applied to Xactly as a row-level write, with types converted between the two schemas.
DetectionStacksync polls Xactly for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. No CDC log for external tools to consume.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Docusign through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Docusign and Xactly: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Docusign's Envelopes and Recipients), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Docusign and Xactly. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Docusign: Docusign Connect webhooks push envelope and recipient status-change events in real time; polling is the fallback and is limited to once every 15 minutes per envelope. On Xactly: No CDC log for external tools to consume. Incremental sync uses SQL predicates on modified/last-updated timestamp columns (for example WHERE modified_date > watermark) against Connect's queryable objects, or scheduled Connect ETL Pipelines that pull deltas since the last run. Xactly Connect has no outbound HTTP webhooks, so change detection is pull/ETL-based. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the Docusign side: Templates, Tabs (form fields), Envelope Custom Fields, Folders, plus custom fields where Docusign exposes them. On the Xactly side: Orders, Credits, Transactions (Commission & Bonus), Participants (Payees). Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Docusign and Xactly: Where Docusign supplies contact or company data; Where Docusign can store CRM context: fields kept current. Enriched fields land directly on records in Xactly, and refreshes keep them from going stale.
