Use cases

What teams run on the Linnworks connector.

Linnworks is bought by multichannel e-commerce retailers, 3PLs, and enterprise sellers managing inventory, orders, listings, and shipping across 100+ marketplaces and carts from one platform. It occupies the inventory and order management layer between sales channels and fulfillment, so it becomes the operational system of record for stock levels and order state, data that finance and analytics teams also need in the ERP and warehouse.

  • Inventory managers
  • Finance ops

  1. Sync orders from Linnworks into an ERP or accounting system as they are processed, without CSV exports

  2. Keep stock levels consistent between Linnworks and external systems so multichannel listings stay aligned with sellable stock

  3. Mirror processed orders, refunds, and returns into a warehouse for margin reporting across channels

  4. Sync product and listing data with a PIM so channel listings stay aligned with the catalog

  5. Push customer and order data to a CRM or marketing platform for post-purchase campaigns

  6. Sync Processed Orders and Returns & Refunds into an ERP or accounting database so revenue and refunds reconcile without CSV exports.

FAQ

Linnworks connector FAQ

What can I sync with the Linnworks connector?

Linnworks's core objects — Open Orders, Processed Orders, Stock Items, Stock Levels and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to Linnworks?

Via REST API, authenticated with Application credentials and an install token exchanged for a session token. Changes are detected as follows — polling on order and stock endpoints. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the Linnworks connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in Linnworks propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does a Linnworks integration take to set up?

Most Linnworks integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Linnworks and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is Linnworks data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Linnworks data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
