Two-way sync
Changes in Quip instantly reflect across connected systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Two-way sync Quip across all your CRMs, databases, data warehouses, EDI systems, and AI tools, with custom workflows tailored to your data.
These objects sync between Quip and any connected system, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution. Custom fields are picked up from the live schema where Quip exposes them.
The connector runs on Quip's native API. Stacksync manages authentication, rate limits, retries, and schema changes so your team does not maintain integration code.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every connection.
Changes in Quip instantly reflect across connected systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Quip data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Quip record.
Track your Quip sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions.
Quip is Salesforce's collaborative documents, spreadsheets, and chat product, used by sales and services teams for account plans, mutual close plans, runbooks, and meeting notes that sit alongside CRM records. It is administered by RevOps or IT beside a Salesforce org and owned day-to-day by sales operations. The content is unstructured collaboration data — living documents and shared spreadsheets — not transactional master data, so teams sync it to a warehouse for search and reporting or push structured figures back into shared sheets.
Mirror Documents and Spreadsheets into Postgres or a warehouse, keyed on thread ID and refreshed when updated_usec advances, for search and reporting on account plans and notes.
Write status rows from an operational database into a shared Quip Spreadsheet with update_spreadsheet_row so ops and deal-desk teams see live figures in-document.
Read Messages from project threads into a data store to analyze collaboration activity and comment volume per document.
Sync Folders and their membership with an identity or HR source so team spaces track org structure.
Post a new_message into a linked Quip thread when a record changes in a CRM or ticketing system, notifying the account team where they plan.
Mirror every Document and Spreadsheet thread into Postgres or a warehouse, keyed on thread ID and refreshed when updated_usec advances, so analysts search account plans and notes without opening Quip.
Pick the system you need to keep in sync with Quip. Each page covers the sync setup, field mapping, and common workflows for that pair.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Quip with its native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Quip objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects the schema, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
FAQ
Quip's core objects — Documents, Spreadsheets, Folders, Messages and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.
Via REST (v1 Automation API), authenticated with OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens (RFC 6749/6750) or a Personal Access Token; domain admins can pre-approve apps for domain-wide authentication. Changes are detected as follows — polling on thread updated_usec timestamps — get_recent_threads paginates by max_updated_usec; there is no change-data-capture and no outbound change webhook. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.
Yes. Changes made in Quip propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.
Most Quip integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Quip and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Quip data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
