Gong: REST API on api.gong.io/v2 - retrieval endpoints (calls, transcript, users, stats, settings, library, logs) plus write endpoints for importing calls, uploading CRM data, and data-privacy erasure. Authentication: Basic authorization header combining an Access Key and Access Key Secret (created by a Gong technical admin, base64-encoded as key:secret); OAuth 2.0 Bearer tokens are supported for marketplace apps. Quip: REST (v1 Automation API). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens (RFC 6749/6750) or a Personal Access Token; domain admins can pre-approve apps for domain-wide authentication. Gong: The public API has no outbound webhooks or change-data-capture; new and updated calls are found by polling POST /v2/calls/extensive on fromDateTime/toDateTime, and transcripts and analysis appear only after asynchronous processing. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Gong and Quip without custom code.
