Quip: REST (v1 Automation API). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens (RFC 6749/6750) or a Personal Access Token; domain admins can pre-approve apps for domain-wide authentication. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.

Quip: There is no change-data-capture or outbound webhook for content edits; incremental sync relies on polling get_recent_threads by updated_usec. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Notion and Quip without custom code.
