Two-way sync
Changes in Quip or Resend instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Quip and Resend in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Documents, Spreadsheets, Folders, Messages in Quip with Domains, Email events, API keys, Emails in Resend in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Information that originates in Quip stays current in Resend instead of going stale after a one-time paste.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Quip objects | Resend objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Documents Editable rich-text threads addressed by ID; created and updated over REST via HTML or Markdown sections, with an updated_usec timestamp used to detect edits. | Audiences Named contact lists that broadcasts target; typically mirrored from CRM segments. | Documents is specific to Quip and Audiences to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Spreadsheets Live-spreadsheet threads; rows and cells are read and written through add_to_spreadsheet and update_spreadsheet_row helpers on the same thread endpoints. | Broadcasts One-to-many campaign sends addressed to an audience. | Spreadsheets is specific to Quip and Broadcasts to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Folders Private, Shared, and Group containers that organize threads; membership is added or removed via the folders endpoints for access control. | Domains Verified sending domains with DNS and DKIM status. | Folders is specific to Quip and Domains to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Messages Comments and chat posts on a thread; the most recent are read with get_messages and new ones written with new_message. | Email events Delivered, bounced, complained, opened, and clicked events emitted via webhooks and written back to source systems. | Messages is specific to Quip and Email events to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Users Member records read individually or via contacts; get_authenticated_user identifies the token owner. Used read-only for directory-style syncs. | API keys Scoped credentials managed per environment for send and read access. | Users is specific to Quip and API keys to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Blobs Images and file attachments stored per thread; downloaded with get_blob and uploaded with put_blob against a specific thread ID. | Emails Sent messages retrievable by ID with current delivery status. | Blobs is specific to Quip and Emails to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Quip for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on thread updated_usec timestamps — get_recent_threads paginates by max_updated_usec.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Resend through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionResend notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for email lifecycle events.

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Quip–Resend connection.
Changes in Quip or Resend instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Quip or Resend data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Quip or Resend record.
Track your Quip ⇄ Resend sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Quip and Resend.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Quip and Resend with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Quip and Resend objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Quip and Resend: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Quip's Documents and Spreadsheets), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Quip: REST (v1 Automation API). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens (RFC 6749/6750) or a Personal Access Token; domain admins can pre-approve apps for domain-wide authentication. Resend: REST API. Authentication: API key (Bearer token). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Quip: The Automation API is rate limited to roughly 50 requests per minute per access token and returns HTTP 503 when exceeded, which constrains large backfills. Resend: Built by the team behind React Email, so templates are commonly authored as React components rendered to HTML at send time. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Quip and Resend without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Quip and Resend records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Quip and Resend connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Quip–Resend integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Quip and Resend. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
