Object catalog

What Stacksync syncs in Infobip.

These objects sync between Infobip and any connected system, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution. Custom fields are picked up from the live schema where Infobip exposes them.

Persons (People CDP)
Contact profiles in the People module holding attributes, tags, and multi-channel contact data (mobile, email); full CRUD via GET/POST/PUT/DELETE /people/2/persons, so Infobip is both a source and a destination for contact records.
SMS Messages
Outbound SMS sent via POST /sms/3/messages (legacy /sms/2/text/advanced); sent-message logs and delivery/seen reports read via GET /sms/1/logs and /sms/1/reports, with delivery reports and inbound (MO) messages pushed to a notifyUrl webhook.
WhatsApp Messages
Template, text, and media WhatsApp messages sent via POST /whatsapp/1/message/*; message status and inbound replies delivered by webhook, and approved message templates are managed under the WhatsApp sender.
Email
Transactional and bulk email sent via POST /email/3/send (multipart form); delivery, open, click, bounce, and unsubscribe events arrive by webhook, and sending domains are managed through the /email/1/domains endpoints.
Conversations
Omnichannel contact-center threads, agents, queues, and tags in the Conversations (CCaaS) module; read and write conversation state and messages through the Conversations API for a unified support view.
Numbers / Senders
Provisioned phone numbers and sender IDs used as message origins, listed and managed via the Numbers API; read to map which sender each message flows through.
Delivery Reports & Logs
Per-message delivery status, seen/read receipts, and error codes; pulled from GET /sms/1/reports and /sms/1/logs within a short retention window, or pushed in real time to a configured notifyUrl webhook.
API surface

How Stacksync connects to Infobip.

The connector runs on Infobip's native API. Stacksync manages authentication, rate limits, retries, and schema changes so your team does not maintain integration code.

Connection
Infobip omnichannel REST API (JSON over HTTPS) across per-channel resources (SMS, WhatsApp, Email, Voice), the People CDP, and Conversations; a unified Messages API also spans channels
Authentication
API key sent as the header 'Authorization: App <api-key>' (recommended), with HTTP Basic authentication and OAuth 2.0 also supported; keys are limited by per-endpoint scopes, and every request must target the account's personalized base URL
Change detection
Delivery reports, seen/read receipts, and inbound (mobile-originated) messages are pushed in real time to a configured notifyUrl webhook per channel; message logs/reports (GET /sms/1/logs, /sms/1/reports) and People list endpoints are polled as a fallback
Rate limits
Message-sending throughput is provisioned per account and per number/sender rather than one fixed global cap; non-messaging endpoints are throttled and return HTTP 429 Too Many Requests when usage exceeds expected levels

Use cases

What teams run on the Infobip connector.

Infobip is a global CPaaS and customer-engagement platform: it sends SMS, WhatsApp, email, and voice, and runs a built-in People CDP, Moments marketing automation, and a Conversations contact center. Backend engineers own the messaging integration, while marketing and support teams work in People, Moments, and Conversations. It holds durable contact profiles (attributes, tags, opt-in state) plus a stream of delivery reports and inbound replies — data the CRM, warehouse, and support tools that own the customer record need flowing both ways.

  • Marketing and lifecycle operations
  • Customer support / contact-center operations
  • Data engineering and analytics
  1. Two-way sync Persons — profiles, attributes, tags, and channel opt-in state — between the Infobip People CDP and a CRM or Postgres database so audience data stays consistent in both systems.

  2. Push CRM or warehouse segments into Infobip People as Persons and add them to Moments flows so triggered SMS, WhatsApp, and email campaigns fire on fresh audiences.

  3. Trigger transactional SMS, WhatsApp, and email sends from database or application events (order shipped, OTP, appointment reminder) through the channel send endpoints.

  4. Land delivery reports, seen receipts, and inbound replies from notifyUrl webhooks into a warehouse table for per-campaign deliverability and engagement reporting.

  5. Sync Conversations threads, tags, and agent assignment into a CRM or helpdesk so support history lives alongside the customer record.

  6. Mirror email bounces, complaints, and opt-outs back onto CRM contact records so other tools stop messaging suppressed people.

FAQ

Infobip connector FAQ

What can I sync with the Infobip connector?

Infobip's core objects — Persons (People CDP), SMS Messages, WhatsApp Messages, Email and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to Infobip?

Via Infobip omnichannel REST API (JSON over HTTPS) across per-channel resources (SMS, WhatsApp, Email, Voice), the People CDP, and Conversations; a unified Messages API also spans channels, authenticated with API key sent as the header 'Authorization: App <api-key>' (recommended), with HTTP Basic authentication and OAuth 2.0 also supported; keys are limited by per-endpoint scopes, and every request must target the account's personalized base URL. Changes are detected as follows — delivery reports, seen/read receipts, and inbound (mobile-originated) messages are pushed in real time to a configured notifyUrl webhook per channel; message logs/reports (GET /sms/1/logs, /sms/1/reports) and People list endpoints are polled as a fallback. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the Infobip connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in Infobip propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does an Infobip integration take to set up?

Most Infobip integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Infobip and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is Infobip data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Infobip data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
