What Stacksync syncs in Pigment.

These objects sync between Pigment and any connected system, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution. Custom fields are picked up from the live schema where Pigment exposes them.

Applications
planning models organized by domain such as finance, sales, or workforce
Metrics
multidimensional values holding plans and actuals; the main target for inbound data
Dimension lists
master data like accounts, products, or employees that metrics are sliced by
Tables
row-based transactional data loaded into models from source systems
Scenarios
versions such as budget, forecast, and actuals that give exported figures their context
Data imports
scheduled loads that bring actuals from ERPs, CRMs, and HRIS into the model
Users and permissions
access controls governing which model areas a sync can touch

Use cases

What teams run on the Pigment connector.

Pigment is bought by finance leadership for FP&A, with adoption extending to RevOps, HR, and supply chain planning teams at mid-market and enterprise companies. It sits downstream of the ERP, CRM, HRIS, and data warehouse as the planning layer where actuals meet forecasts. The models it holds - metrics, dimensions, tables, and scenarios - are only as current as the data feeds behind them, which is why integration cadence is the main buying concern.

  • RevOps
  • Analytics engineers
  1. Load actuals from an ERP or accounting system such as NetSuite or QuickBooks into Pigment on a schedule so plans compare against real numbers.

  2. Sync headcount and compensation data from an HRIS into workforce planning models.

  3. Push CRM pipeline data (deals, stages, amounts) into Pigment for revenue and capacity planning.

  4. Export approved budgets and forecasts back to a warehouse or Postgres for downstream reporting.

  5. Keep dimension lists such as departments and cost centers consistent with master data in the ERP.

  6. Feed actuals from the ERP or warehouse into Pigment Tables and Metrics on a schedule via Data imports, replacing manual CSV uploads.

FAQ

Pigment connector FAQ

What can I sync with the Pigment connector?

Pigment's core objects — Applications, Metrics, Dimension lists, Tables and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to Pigment?

Via REST-based import and export API, authenticated with API keys, issued separately for import and export. Changes are detected as follows — no change feed; syncs run scheduled imports and exports. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the Pigment connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in Pigment propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does a Pigment integration take to set up?

Most Pigment integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Pigment and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is Pigment data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Pigment data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
