Use cases

What teams run on the Orderful connector.

Orderful is bought by supply chain ops, ERP admins, and integration teams at brands, retailers, logistics providers, and 3PLs that need EDI with trading partners. It positions a connect-once network model - one API connection to Orderful, then trade with partners already on its network - as the replacement for point-to-point legacy EDI, so the platform carries the order-to-cash document flow (purchase orders, invoices, ship notices) between a company and its partners.

  • Supply chain ops
  • ERP admins
  • Integration engineers
  • Finance ops
  1. Sync inbound purchase orders from Orderful into an ERP or Postgres so fulfillment starts without manual EDI handling.

  2. Push invoices and advance ship notices from the ERP through Orderful to retail trading partners.

  3. Mirror transaction statuses and acknowledgments into a database for supply chain visibility dashboards.

  4. Onboard new retail partners by mapping Orderful's JSON transactions to existing order tables instead of building per-partner EDI maps.

  5. Reconcile 810 invoices against ERP billing records automatically as documents arrive.

  6. Sync Orderful Transactions (purchase orders, invoices, advance ship notices) into an ERP or operational database so order flow lands where operations teams already work.

FAQ

Orderful connector FAQ

What can I sync with the Orderful connector?

Orderful's core objects — Transactions, Trading partners, Relationships, Validation guidelines and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to Orderful?

Via REST API (JSON), authenticated with API key. Changes are detected as follows — webhooks push inbound transactions and status events; polling available as fallback. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the Orderful connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in Orderful propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does an Orderful integration take to set up?

Most Orderful integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Orderful and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is Orderful data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Orderful data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
