Two-way sync
Changes in Jobvite or Servicemax instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Jobvite and Servicemax in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Each tool in Servicemax keeps its own list of who can use it: users, members, or agents, along with the team they sit on and whether they are still active. Jobvite is the authoritative record of the same people as employees, with their department, manager, and employment status. When those two are connected only by manual account admin or a periodic export, the work tools drift: new hires wait days for access, team and manager changes never catch up, and people who have left keep standing accounts.
Stacksync syncs Products, Work Orders, Work Details, Installed Products in Servicemax with Workflow Status, New Hire, Employee, Attachment in Jobvite bi-directionally and in real time. A person added, moved, or offboarded in Jobvite creates or updates the matching user in Servicemax within seconds, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution in place of spreadsheets and one-off account changes. Where Servicemax captures details of its own, such as a corrected contact or a login identity, those can flow back to Jobvite in whichever direction you configure.
Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps its own extras; only the shared facts, who a person is, which team they belong to, and whether their access should be on, are held in agreement.
A new hire recorded in Jobvite creates the matching user in Servicemax with the right team and manager already set, so people can start working without waiting on a provisioning ticket.
When someone is marked as leaving in Jobvite, the matching account in Servicemax is deactivated or flagged, so departures do not leave open access behind.
A person's name, title, contact details, or status corrected in either system updates the other, so both sides stop maintaining separate copies of the same person.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Jobvite objects | Servicemax objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Candidate Read from the candidate feed (GET /candidate) and written back via POST /candidate/updateCandidates to change status, notes, and disposition on each record. | Cases Standard Salesforce Case; support records that often precede a Work Order; synced with help desk tools and reporting databases. | Candidate is specific to Jobvite and Cases to Servicemax — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Requisition (Job) Job openings created or updated through POST /job and read from GET /jobFeed; maps to opening tables in an ATS reporting warehouse. | Products Standard Salesforce Product2; catalog of serviceable products and spare parts referenced by Installed Products and Work Details. | Requisition (Job) is specific to Jobvite and Products to Servicemax — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Application Links a candidate to one requisition with its workflow state; read for pipeline reporting and status written back through the candidate update call. | Work Orders SVMXC__Service_Order__c; the core field-service job record for install, repair, and maintenance; synced two-way with databases and pushed to ERPs at close. | Application is specific to Jobvite and Work Orders to Servicemax — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workflow Status The pipeline stage per application (Screen, Interview, Offer, Hired); updated through POST /candidate/updateCandidates to advance records. | Work Details SVMXC__Service_Order_Line__c; line items on a Work Order for labor, parts used, and expenses; read out for billing or written back with usage. | Workflow Status is specific to Jobvite and Work Details to Servicemax — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| New Hire Hired-candidate records surfaced in the candidate feed and via the candidate hired webhook; commonly written into an HRIS or onboarding tool. | Installed Products SVMXC__Installed_Product__c; the installed-base asset record driving entitlement and service history; synced with asset and IoT databases. | New Hire is specific to Jobvite and Installed Products to Servicemax — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Employee Employee roster pushed through POST /employee (Onboard sync), used for referral matching and internal-mobility job postings. | Service Contracts SVMXC__Service_Contract__c; coverage and entitlement agreements; synced to warehouses for renewal, SLA, and warranty reporting. | Employee is specific to Jobvite and Service Contracts to Servicemax — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionJobvite notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. A candidate hired webhook, configured per customer by a Jobvite rep, POSTs to a custom URL on hire/offer-accepted events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Servicemax through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionChanges in Servicemax are captured at the source via change data capture — no polling loop against its API. Salesforce mechanisms — Apex triggers or polling on SystemModstamp/LastModifiedDate, with Change Data Capture / Platform Events available per object.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Jobvite and Servicemax with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Jobvite and Servicemax objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Jobvite and Servicemax: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Jobvite's Candidate and Requisition (Job)), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Change detection on Jobvite: A candidate hired webhook, configured per customer by a Jobvite rep, POSTs to a custom URL on hire/offer-accepted events; otherwise Stacksync polls the candidate and job feeds on a schedule and diffs results, since records carry no per-item modified-date filter. On Servicemax: Salesforce mechanisms — Apex triggers or polling on SystemModstamp/LastModifiedDate, with Change Data Capture / Platform Events available per object where enabled. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the Servicemax side: Products, Work Orders, Work Details, Installed Products, plus custom fields where Servicemax exposes them. On the Jobvite side: Workflow Status, New Hire, Employee, Attachment. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Jobvite and Servicemax: Onboarding: access ready on day one; Offboarding: no standing access after a departure; One employee directory. A new hire recorded in Jobvite creates the matching user in Servicemax with the right team and manager already set, so people can start working without waiting on a provisioning ticket.
Jobvite: REST API (JSON) with candidate, requisition (job), and employee feed endpoints under https://api.jobvite.com/{version}. Authentication: API key (api) and secret (sc) plus company ID (companyId), sent in request headers since Jobvite's April 1, 2024 move from URL-query to header-based auth. Credentials are provisioned per customer by Jobvite Support. Servicemax: Salesforce REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs (ServiceMax is a managed package on the Salesforce platform). Authentication: Salesforce OAuth login via a user with API access; the connecting profile needs object and field permissions on ServiceMax's SVMXC__ objects. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
