Two-way sync
Changes in Brightpearl or Iterable instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Brightpearl and Iterable in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Marketing runs on lists of people, but the list rarely knows which of those people are paying customers, what they ordered, or what they are worth. Brightpearl holds exactly that: Invoices and payments, Custom fields, Products, Sales orders that record who the customer is, what they bought, and what they owe. When the two are joined only by a periodic export, campaigns go out against stale audiences, existing customers get prospecting emails, high-value accounts look the same as cold leads, and a canceled order still counts toward a segment.
Stacksync syncs Invoices and payments, Custom fields, Products, Sales orders in Brightpearl with Catalogs, Commerce / Purchases, Export data, Users in Iterable in real time, and where both sides accept writes, in both directions. Customer, order, and invoice data maps field by field onto the contacts, audiences, or accounts Iterable works with, so segmentation and personalization run on current purchase history instead of a month-old snapshot. Contact details and consent changes that originate in Iterable flow back onto the record in Brightpearl.
The strongest bridge between the two is identity and purchase history, who the customer is and what they have bought, so that is where most of the value sits. Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps the attributes the other has no use for; only the shared records are held in agreement.
Orders, invoices, and revenue totals from Brightpearl land on the matching contact or account in Iterable, so audiences are built from what customers actually bought and spent rather than from guesses.
Because Brightpearl knows who is already a paying customer, Iterable can exclude them from acquisition campaigns or single them out for renewal and cross-sell.
A person or company's contact details corrected in either system update the other, so marketing and the back office stop maintaining separate versions of the same record.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Brightpearl objects | Iterable objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Custom fields Per-object custom attributes included in field mappings. | Export data Historical user and event records pulled through the Export API (/api/export/data.json, data.csv, and userEvents) across data types like emailSend, emailOpen, emailClick, emailBounce, purchase, and customEvent. | Custom fields is specific to Brightpearl and Export data to Iterable — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Products SKU records with variants and price lists, synced with e-commerce and ERP catalogs. | Users User profiles keyed by email or userId with custom data fields; upserted via POST /api/users/update, read via GET /api/users/{email} or getByUserId, bulk-written via /api/users/bulkUpdate (up to 1000 users per call), and deleted or GDPR-forgotten. | Products is specific to Brightpearl and Users to Iterable — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Sales orders Orders from all channels; the central object for fulfillment and revenue syncs. | Events Custom and system events tracked via /api/events/track and /api/events/trackBulk (up to 1000 events per call); a single user's event history is read via GET /api/events/{email}. | Sales orders is specific to Brightpearl and Events to Iterable — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Purchase orders Supplier orders synced with procurement or accounting systems. | Campaigns Email, SMS, push, and in-app sends; metadata and metrics read via GET /api/campaigns and /api/campaigns/metrics, created and sent via /api/campaigns/create and /api/campaigns/trigger. | Purchase orders is specific to Brightpearl and Campaigns to Iterable — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contacts Customers and suppliers in one contact model, matched to CRM records by email or reference. | Templates Reusable email/SMS/push/in-app message templates with handlebars fields; read via /api/templates and per-channel get endpoints, written via /api/templates/email/upsert and the other channel upserts. | Contacts is specific to Brightpearl and Templates to Iterable — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Inventory and warehouses On-hand and allocated stock by warehouse, read for availability publishing. | Lists Static subscriber lists; read via GET /api/lists and /api/lists/getUsers, with users added or removed via /api/lists/subscribe and /api/lists/unsubscribe to control who receives a send. | Inventory and warehouses is specific to Brightpearl and Lists to Iterable — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionBrightpearl notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for object created/updated events, with resource search polling as a fallback.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Iterable through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionIterable notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. System Webhooks push email/SMS/push/in-app and custom events (send, open, click, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe) as JSON POSTs in near real time.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Brightpearl through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Pick the Brightpearl and Iterable objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Brightpearl and Iterable: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Brightpearl's Custom fields and Products), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Brightpearl: REST API, organized into services (order, product, contact, warehouse, accounting). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (authorization code grant) for current apps; legacy private and public apps authenticate with app reference and account token headers. Iterable: Iterable REST API (JSON over HTTPS): Users, Events, Campaigns, Templates, Lists, Catalogs, and Commerce endpoints, plus a bulk Export API for historical data. Authentication: API key sent in the Api-Key HTTP header (also accepted as Api_Key; the name is case-insensitive). Keys are scoped by type - Server-side, JavaScript (Web SDK), or Mobile - with optional JWT-enabled keys. US projects use api.iterable.com; EU projects use api.eu.iterable.com. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Brightpearl: Brightpearl is part of Sage following its 2022 acquisition. Iterable: Bulk endpoints cap at 1000 records per call - /api/users/bulkUpdate accepts up to 1000 users and /api/events/trackBulk up to 1000 events. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Brightpearl and Iterable without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Brightpearl and Iterable records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Brightpearl and Iterable connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Brightpearl–Iterable integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Brightpearl and Iterable. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
