Real-time sync
Changes in Marketo or ZoomInfo instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Marketo and ZoomInfo in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
ZoomInfo is a read-only source: Stacksync reads its data in real time and delivers it into Marketo, so Marketo always reflects the current state of ZoomInfo — without exports, scripts, or schedulers.
ZoomInfo owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Marketo runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Where Marketo builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in ZoomInfo, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
New leads or responders captured in Marketo flow into ZoomInfo assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Marketo objects | ZoomInfo objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Smart Campaigns Automation flows read via /rest/v1/campaigns.json and run against a set of Leads by requesting a trigger campaign with POST /rest/v1/campaigns/{id}/trigger.json, so downstream logic can push Leads into a Marketo flow. | Contact Profiles Person records with title, email, phone, and company linkage, used to enrich leads and contacts. | Smart Campaigns is specific to Marketo and Contact Profiles to ZoomInfo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Leads Core person records (called Leads/People), deduped on email address by default or a configured dedupe field; read via GET /rest/v1/leads.json with a filterType, upserted via POST /rest/v1/leads.json (action createOrUpdate/createOnly/updateOnly), bulk-imported via CSV through POST /bulk/v1/leads.json, and bulk-exported via /bulk/v1/leads/export/create.json. | Intent Signals Company-level topic scores indicating in-market buying behavior. | Leads is specific to Marketo and Intent Signals to ZoomInfo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Companies Company records linked to Leads via a company link field; read and upserted through /rest/v1/companies.json, typically mastered in a CRM or ERP and written into Marketo for account context. | Scoops Event-driven signals such as leadership changes, funding rounds, and new projects. | Companies is specific to Marketo and Scoops to ZoomInfo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunities and Opportunity Roles Revenue objects synced via /rest/v1/opportunities.json and /rest/v1/opportunities/roles.json; roles associate an opportunity with a Lead, so pipeline data can drive nurture and scoring. | Technographics Technology install data per company, used for segmentation and territory planning. | Opportunities and Opportunity Roles is specific to Marketo and Technographics to ZoomInfo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Custom Objects Auxiliary data tables described via /rest/v1/customobjects.json and read/written via /rest/v1/customobjects/{apiName}.json, linked to Leads by a dedupe/link field so campaigns branch on records like purchases or subscriptions. | Company Hierarchies Parent and subsidiary linkage used to align CRM account hierarchies. | Custom Objects is specific to Marketo and Company Hierarchies to ZoomInfo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Activities and Lead Changes Engagement feed (opens, clicks, form fills, Data Value Changes) read via GET /rest/v1/activities.json using a paging token from /rest/v1/activities/pagingtoken.json (sinceDatetime), plus Get Lead Changes and Get Deleted Leads; read-only, also available via async Bulk Activity Extract. | Company Profiles Firmographic records covering industry, size, revenue, and location, matched against CRM accounts. | Activities and Lead Changes is specific to Marketo and Company Profiles to ZoomInfo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Marketo for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling: Get Lead Changes and Get Lead Activities from a paging token seeded by a sinceDatetime, plus Get Deleted Leads, or Bulk Extract filtered on.
DeliveryZoomInfo does not accept inbound record writes, so this direction carries requests rather than records: ZoomInfo's output flows back as field updates on the originating Marketo records.
DetectionStacksync polls ZoomInfo for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Scheduled re-enrichment and polling.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Marketo through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Marketo and ZoomInfo with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Marketo and ZoomInfo objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time integration between Marketo and ZoomInfo — ZoomInfo is a read-only source, so data flows from it into the other system: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync, map fields visually, and changes propagate in milliseconds — no code required.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Marketo and ZoomInfo records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Marketo and ZoomInfo connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Marketo–ZoomInfo integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Marketo and ZoomInfo. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Marketo: Polling: Get Lead Changes and Get Lead Activities from a paging token seeded by a sinceDatetime, plus Get Deleted Leads, or Bulk Extract filtered on createdAt/updatedAt. Marketo's Webhooks are Smart Campaign flow-step outbound HTTP calls to a URL, not a general record-change subscription, so there is no push feed of arbitrary CRUD. On ZoomInfo: Scheduled re-enrichment and polling; the platform is primarily a lookup and enrichment source, not an event stream. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the ZoomInfo side: Technographics, Company Hierarchies, Company Profiles, Contact Profiles, plus custom fields where ZoomInfo exposes them. On the Marketo side: Programs and Program Members, Smart Campaigns, Leads, Companies. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
