Why teams connect Logiwa WMS and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Feed the real customer, order, and revenue records from Logiwa WMS into Salesforce Marketing Cloud so campaigns run on who actually bought what, and let contact and consent changes flow back in real time.

Marketing runs on lists of people, but the list rarely knows which of those people are paying customers, what they ordered, or what they are worth. Logiwa WMS holds exactly that: Products (SKUs), Shipments, Warehouses & Locations, Clients that record who the customer is, what they bought, and what they owe. When the two are joined only by a periodic export, campaigns go out against stale audiences, existing customers get prospecting emails, high-value accounts look the same as cold leads, and a canceled order still counts toward a segment.

Stacksync syncs Products (SKUs), Shipments, Warehouses & Locations, Clients in Logiwa WMS with Automations (Automation Studio), Tracking Events, Transactional Sends, Data Extensions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud in real time, and where both sides accept writes, in both directions. Customer, order, and invoice data maps field by field onto the contacts, audiences, or accounts Salesforce Marketing Cloud works with, so segmentation and personalization run on current purchase history instead of a month-old snapshot. Contact details and consent changes that originate in Salesforce Marketing Cloud flow back onto the record in Logiwa WMS.

The strongest bridge between the two is identity and purchase history, who the customer is and what they have bought, so that is where most of the value sits. Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps the attributes the other has no use for; only the shared records are held in agreement.

Common use cases

  • 01 Sync shipment confirmations and tracking numbers back to the CRM so support sees fulfillment status.
  • 02 Mirror on-hand inventory into a central database or storefront to prevent overselling.
  • 03 Sync Contacts and Subscriber Key subscription status between Marketing Cloud and a CRM so suppression and opt-in state stay current before the next send.
  • 04 Stream Event Notification Service callbacks for transactional sends, bounces, opens, and clicks into a database in near real time alongside CRM contact records.

Common sync patterns

Suppress or target existing customers

Because Logiwa WMS knows who is already a paying customer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud can exclude them from acquisition campaigns or single them out for renewal and cross-sell.

One customer identity across both systems

A person or company's contact details corrected in either system update the other, so marketing and the back office stop maintaining separate versions of the same record.

Lifecycle triggers from back-office events

A first order, a renewal, or a lapsed account recorded in Logiwa WMS appears in Salesforce Marketing Cloud within seconds, ready to start or stop a lifecycle campaign.

What you can sync between Logiwa WMS and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.

Logiwa WMS objects Salesforce Marketing Cloud objects How this pairing syncs
Returns Return receipts synced so ERPs and support tools reflect restocked inventory. Tracking Events Sent, Open, Click, Bounce, Unsubscribe, and NotSent events retrieved through the SOAP tracking objects (SentEvent, OpenEvent, ClickEvent, BounceEvent) or the Automation Studio Data Views (_Sent, _Open, _Click, _Bounce) - the queryable record of engagement per send. Returns is specific to Logiwa WMS and Tracking Events to Salesforce Marketing Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Shipment Orders Outbound fulfillment orders created from connected storefronts or an OMS and updated as they move through picking and packing. Transactional Sends Triggered and transactional Email/SMS delivered through the Messaging API (/messaging/v1/email/messages/{key}); the Event Notification Service reports each message's disposition (delivered, bounced, opened, clicked). Shipment Orders is specific to Logiwa WMS and Transactional Sends to Salesforce Marketing Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Purchase Orders Inbound receipt expectations synced from the ERP or procurement system to drive receiving. Data Extensions Custom relational tables that store subscriber, audience, and arbitrary business data; rows are read via GET /data/v1/customobjectdata or SOAP Retrieve and upserted via the synchronous rowset PUT or the async /data/v1/async/dataextensions rows endpoint. This is the primary two-way surface. Purchase Orders is specific to Logiwa WMS and Data Extensions to Salesforce Marketing Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Inventory On-hand and available stock levels read out to keep storefronts, ERPs, and analytics stores current. Contacts / Subscribers The contact model keyed by Subscriber Key, holding channel addresses and subscription status; managed through the Contacts API (/contacts/v1/contacts) and the SOAP Subscriber object, and referenced by every send and journey. Inventory is specific to Logiwa WMS and Contacts / Subscribers to Salesforce Marketing Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Products (SKUs) Item master records kept consistent between the ERP or ecommerce catalog and the WMS. Journeys (Journey Builder) Multi-step automated flows read and managed via /interaction/v1/interactions; contacts are injected by firing an entry event to /interaction/v1/events with an EventDefinitionKey and contact data. Products (SKUs) is specific to Logiwa WMS and Journeys (Journey Builder) to Salesforce Marketing Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Shipments Carrier, tracking, and ship-confirm data pushed back to order sources after dispatch. Content Assets (Content Builder) Emails, templates, images, and reusable content blocks stored in Content Builder and read or written via /asset/v1/content/assets, used to compose the messages a journey or send delivers. Shipments is specific to Logiwa WMS and Content Assets (Content Builder) to Salesforce Marketing Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.

How changes propagate between Logiwa WMS and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.

Logiwa WMS Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interval-based propagation

DetectionStacksync polls Logiwa WMS for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on order and inventory endpoints using modified timestamps, subject to the platform's API rate limits.

DeliveryEach detected change is written to Salesforce Marketing Cloud through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Logiwa WMS Sub-second propagation

DetectionSalesforce Marketing Cloud notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. The Event Notification Service (ENS) issues HTTPS POST callbacks for transactional Email and SMS events (sent, bounce, open, click) once a callback.

DeliveryEach detected change is written to Logiwa WMS through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Rate-limit considerations

  • Logiwa WMS: Subject to the platform's published API rate limits.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Salesforce does not publish fixed numeric REST rate limits; requests are throttled per account and can return HTTP 429, so backoff is advised. SOAP Retrieve returns at most 2,500 records per call and pages via ContinueRequest with the prior RequestID. Bulk Data Extension writes use the async rows API to queue inserts in the background.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Integration surface
Two APIs on tenant-specific endpoints: a REST API (JSON over HTTPS) for Data Extensions, Journeys, Contacts, Content Builder, and Automations, plus a legacy SOAP API (ExactTarget WSDL) for tracking events and bulk Retrieve.
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 via an Installed Package (Client ID + Client Secret). Server-to-server uses the client_credentials grant and web apps use authorization_code, both against {subdomain}.auth.marketingcloudapis.com/v2/token. The 20-minute access token response also returns the account's rest_instance_url and soap_instance_url.
Change detection
The Event Notification Service (ENS) issues HTTPS POST callbacks for transactional Email and SMS events (sent, bounce, open, click) once a callback URL and subscription are registered and verified. There is no general data-change feed, so Data Extension and Data View syncs poll by date fields.
