Two-way sync
Changes in Gong or Jobvite instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Gong and Jobvite in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Gong runs on people as much as on accounts: every contact, deal, and account has an owner, and those owners are employees whose roles, teams, and status are held in Jobvite. Jobvite is the system of record for the workforce, from new hires to promotions to departures, and often for the candidates the business is still deciding on. When the two systems are connected only by re-keying or an overnight export, they drift apart, and the CRM ends up assigning accounts to people who have left, holding territories that no longer match the org chart, and waiting days to give a new rep access.
Stacksync syncs Calls, Transcripts, Users, Interaction Stats (Activity) in Gong with Attachment, Offer, Candidate, Requisition (Job) in Jobvite field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields, so Jobvite stays authoritative on roles and org structure while Gong keeps ownership and territory current, and Stacksync resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
A person's name, title, email, phone, or manager corrected in either system updates the other, so both stop maintaining separate copies of the same individual.
A person recorded in Jobvite, such as a candidate or applicant, can create or update the matching contact in Gong, so relationship history and outreach are not rebuilt from scratch when the same individual appears in both.
When Jobvite records a new hire, a matching user or owner is created in Gong, so a new rep can start working accounts without waiting on a manual setup ticket.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Gong objects | Jobvite objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data Privacy (Erasure) GDPR/CCPA deletion handled by POST /v2/data-privacy/erase-data-for-email, with data-for-email lookups on the read side; a write path used for compliance deletions. | Workflow Status The pipeline stage per application (Screen, Interview, Offer, Hired); updated through POST /candidate/updateCandidates to advance records. | Data Privacy (Erasure) is specific to Gong and Workflow Status to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Calls Retrieved via POST /v2/calls/extensive with participants, topics, trackers, scorecards, and media URLs, filtered by fromDateTime/toDateTime; external recordings are also imported via POST /v2/calls with media uploaded via PUT /v2/calls/{id}/media. Read and write. | New Hire Hired-candidate records surfaced in the candidate feed and via the candidate hired webhook; commonly written into an HRIS or onboarding tool. | Calls is specific to Gong and New Hire to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Transcripts Speaker-attributed, timestamped sentences retrieved via POST /v2/calls/transcript for one or more callIds; available only after asynchronous processing completes. Read-only. | Employee Employee roster pushed through POST /employee (Onboard sync), used for referral matching and internal-mobility job postings. | Transcripts is specific to Gong and Employee to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Users Gong users and team members with roles, titles, email, and settings, read via GET /v2/users to map call owners and participants to CRM and warehouse identities. Read-only. | Attachment Resumes, cover letters, and files attached to a candidate; synced out to object storage or a document management system. | Users is specific to Gong and Attachment to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Interaction Stats (Activity) Aggregated talk/listen ratios, interaction stats, and day-by-day user activity retrieved via POST /v2/stats endpoints; read out for coaching and engagement reporting. Read-only. | Offer Offer state tied to an application (extended, accepted, declined); read out for offer-acceptance reporting and written to downstream comp or HR systems. | Interaction Stats (Activity) is specific to Gong and Offer to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Trackers & Scorecards Keyword and topic tracker definitions plus coaching scorecards, including answered scorecards, read from Settings as coaching and deal-risk signals. Read-only. | Candidate Read from the candidate feed (GET /candidate) and written back via POST /candidate/updateCandidates to change status, notes, and disposition on each record. | Trackers & Scorecards is specific to Gong and Candidate to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Gong for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling POST /v2/calls/extensive on fromDateTime/toDateTime.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Jobvite through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionJobvite notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. A candidate hired webhook, configured per customer by a Jobvite rep, POSTs to a custom URL on hire/offer-accepted events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gong through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Gong and Jobvite: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Gong's Data Privacy (Erasure) and Calls), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Gong: REST API on api.gong.io/v2 - retrieval endpoints (calls, transcript, users, stats, settings, library, logs) plus write endpoints for importing calls, uploading CRM data, and data-privacy erasure. Authentication: Basic authorization header combining an Access Key and Access Key Secret (created by a Gong technical admin, base64-encoded as key:secret); OAuth 2.0 Bearer tokens are supported for marketplace apps. Jobvite: REST API (JSON) with candidate, requisition (job), and employee feed endpoints under https://api.jobvite.com/{version}. Authentication: API key (api) and secret (sc) plus company ID (companyId), sent in request headers since Jobvite's April 1, 2024 move from URL-query to header-based auth. Credentials are provisioned per customer by Jobvite Support. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Gong: Authentication uses a Basic authorization header built from an Access Key and Access Key Secret generated by a Gong technical admin, or OAuth 2.0 Bearer tokens for marketplace apps. Jobvite: The /jobFeed endpoint supports only pagination (start, count) and category/location filters, with no modified-date parameter, so incremental job pulls rely on full-feed diffing. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Gong and Jobvite without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Gong and Jobvite records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Gong and Jobvite connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Gong–Jobvite integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Gong and Jobvite. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
