Two-way sync
Changes in Gainsight or Resend instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Gainsight and Resend in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Scorecard Fact, Timeline Activity, Success Plan, Task and Playbook in Gainsight with Domains, Email events, API keys, Emails in Resend in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Information that originates in Gainsight stays current in Resend instead of going stale after a one-time paste.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Gainsight objects | Resend objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Person (People) Contacts associated to companies through the Company Person junction; synced two-way with CRM contacts and warehouse person records. | Audiences Named contact lists that broadcasts target; typically mirrored from CRM segments. | Person (People) is specific to Gainsight and Audiences to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Relationship Sub-units within a company for multi-product or multi-team accounts; synced so each maps to the right contract in billing or an ERP. | Broadcasts One-to-many campaign sends addressed to an audience. | Relationship is specific to Gainsight and Broadcasts to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| CTA (Call to Action) Risk and expansion alerts that drive CSM plays; often synced to ticketing or project tools so follow-up work is tracked where teams operate. | Domains Verified sending domains with DNS and DKIM status. | CTA (Call to Action) is specific to Gainsight and Domains to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Scorecard Fact Health scores and measures per Company or Relationship; usage metrics from a warehouse are written in so scores reflect live telemetry. | Email events Delivered, bounced, complained, opened, and clicked events emitted via webhooks and written back to source systems. | Scorecard Fact is specific to Gainsight and Email events to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Timeline Activity Logged calls, emails, and notes; usually read out into a reporting database for QBR and churn analysis. | API keys Scoped credentials managed per environment for send and read access. | Timeline Activity is specific to Gainsight and API keys to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Success Plan Account objectives with associated tasks; read out for reporting or synced with project tools tracking onboarding and adoption. | Emails Sent messages retrievable by ID with current delivery status. | Success Plan is specific to Gainsight and Emails to Resend — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Gainsight for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on the ModifiedDate (GS Modified Date) system field, which is filterable and sortable on every object.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Resend through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionResend notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for email lifecycle events.

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Gainsight–Resend connection.
Changes in Gainsight or Resend instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Gainsight or Resend data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Gainsight or Resend record.
Track your Gainsight ⇄ Resend sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Gainsight and Resend.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Gainsight and Resend with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Gainsight and Resend objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Gainsight and Resend: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Gainsight's Person (People) and Relationship), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Gainsight and Resend: Where one tool produces events: mirror them in the other; Where Resend is where the team documents or plans: keep its data fed; Handoffs between teams. Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Gainsight: REST APIs (per-object) and asynchronous Bulk REST API. Authentication: API access key passed in the 'accesskey' request header (non-expiring), generated by a Gainsight admin; M2M OAuth (Client ID/Secret) is also supported. Resend: REST API. Authentication: API key (Bearer token). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Gainsight: There is no general change-event stream; near-real-time outbound is limited to Rules Engine Real-Time Rules configured per event topic, so continuous sync relies on ModifiedDate polling. Resend: Webhook payloads cover the full email lifecycle (sent, delivered, bounced, complained, opened, clicked) and are signed for verification. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Gainsight and Resend without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Gainsight and Resend records are not retained after a sync operation.
