Two-way sync
Changes in Resend or Smartsheet instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Resend and Smartsheet in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Domains, Email events, API keys, Emails in Resend with Discussions and Comments, Users and Groups, Sheets, Rows in Smartsheet in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Contact and company details corrected in either tool update the other, so nobody works from the old version.
Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Resend objects | Smartsheet objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email events Delivered, bounced, complained, opened, and clicked events emitted via webhooks and written back to source systems. | Cells Row-by-column values; writes must match the column type and no single cell can exceed 4,000 characters. | Email events is specific to Resend and Cells to Smartsheet — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| API keys Scoped credentials managed per environment for send and read access. | Reports Read-only roll-ups spanning multiple sheets; pulled into a warehouse for cross-sheet reporting, capped at 50,000 rows. | API keys is specific to Resend and Reports to Smartsheet — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Emails Sent messages retrievable by ID with current delivery status. | Attachments Files linked to rows or sheets; posting one carries a 10x rate cost, so bulk file sync is throttled to 30 per minute. | Emails is specific to Resend and Attachments to Smartsheet — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contacts Recipient records with email, name, and subscription state, synced from CRMs or databases. | Discussions and Comments Threaded comments on rows and sheets; read out to sync collaboration history or activity into another system. | Contacts is specific to Resend and Discussions and Comments to Smartsheet — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Audiences Named contact lists that broadcasts target; typically mirrored from CRM segments. | Users and Groups Account membership and sharing; synced to keep an HR or identity source aligned with sheet and workspace access. | Audiences is specific to Resend and Users and Groups to Smartsheet — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Broadcasts One-to-many campaign sends addressed to an audience. | Sheets The core container; each sheet has typed columns, rows, and a modifiedAt stamp. Stacksync treats a sheet as a table and syncs its rows two-way. | Broadcasts is specific to Resend and Sheets to Smartsheet — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionResend notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for email lifecycle events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Smartsheet through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Resend–Smartsheet connection.
Changes in Resend or Smartsheet instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Resend or Smartsheet data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Resend or Smartsheet record.
Track your Resend ⇄ Smartsheet sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Resend and Smartsheet.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Resend and Smartsheet with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Resend and Smartsheet objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Resend and Smartsheet: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Resend's Email events and API keys), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Resend and Smartsheet: Handoffs between teams; Where both tools track people or companies: one consistent record; Where one tool produces events: mirror them in the other. When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Resend: REST API. Authentication: API key (Bearer token). Smartsheet: REST API (v2.0). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 authorization-code flow, or a raw/personal API access token passed as a Bearer header. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Resend: Webhook payloads cover the full email lifecycle (sent, delivered, bounced, complained, opened, clicked) and are signed for verification. Smartsheet: Row add and update calls are limited to 500 rows per request, so large syncs are chunked. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Resend and Smartsheet without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Resend and Smartsheet records are not retained after a sync operation.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
