Two-way sync
Changes in DEAR Inventory or Demandbase instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep DEAR Inventory and Demandbase in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Marketing runs on lists of people, but the list rarely knows which of those people are paying customers, what they ordered, or what they are worth. DEAR Inventory holds exactly that: Stock levels, Sale orders, Purchase orders, Customers that record who the customer is, what they bought, and what they owe. When the two are joined only by a periodic export, campaigns go out against stale audiences, existing customers get prospecting emails, high-value accounts look the same as cold leads, and a canceled order still counts toward a segment.
Stacksync syncs Stock levels, Sale orders, Purchase orders, Customers in DEAR Inventory with Opportunities, People (Persons), Activities, Campaigns in Demandbase in real time, and where both sides accept writes, in both directions. Customer, order, and invoice data maps field by field onto the contacts, audiences, or accounts Demandbase works with, so segmentation and personalization run on current purchase history instead of a month-old snapshot. Contact details and consent changes that originate in Demandbase flow back onto the record in DEAR Inventory.
The strongest bridge between the two is identity and purchase history, who the customer is and what they have bought, so that is where most of the value sits. Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps the attributes the other has no use for; only the shared records are held in agreement.
Orders, invoices, and revenue totals from DEAR Inventory land on the matching contact or account in Demandbase, so audiences are built from what customers actually bought and spent rather than from guesses.
Because DEAR Inventory knows who is already a paying customer, Demandbase can exclude them from acquisition campaigns or single them out for renewal and cross-sell.
A person or company's contact details corrected in either system update the other, so marketing and the back office stop maintaining separate versions of the same record.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| DEAR Inventory objects | Demandbase objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purchase orders Supplier orders and receiving records synced with accounting and planning tools. | Opportunities Opportunity records synced from the CRM into Demandbase; exported with calculated insights and imported or updated through the Data Import API. Read and write. | Purchase orders is specific to DEAR Inventory and Opportunities to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Customers Buyer records aligned with CRM and accounting counterparts. | People (Persons) Contact/person records with verified business email, title, seniority, and quality grades; fetched and matched via the B2B Contact endpoints and exported or imported. | Customers is specific to DEAR Inventory and People (Persons) to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Suppliers Vendor records referenced on purchase orders. | Activities Engagement and custom activity records (web, campaign, intent); exported via Data Export and pushed in through the Data Import API using custom activity types. | Suppliers is specific to DEAR Inventory and Activities to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Stock adjustments and transfers Inventory movement transactions that explain changes in availability. | Campaigns Marketing campaign records and creative assets exported through the Data Export API; read-only reporting feed. | Stock adjustments and transfers is specific to DEAR Inventory and Campaigns to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Assemblies / Production Bill-of-material and production records for light manufacturing workflows. | Account & Person Lists (Audiences) Named account and person segments exported via Data Export; custom audiences pushed into Demandbase through the Data Import API. Read and write. | Assemblies / Production is specific to DEAR Inventory and Account & Person Lists (Audiences) to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Locations Warehouses and bins that scope stock levels and fulfillment. | Company Details (B2B enrichment) Firmographics, technographics, competitors, and corporate family tree fetched by domain or name via the B2B Company Search and Details endpoints; read-only enrichment. | Locations is specific to DEAR Inventory and Company Details (B2B enrichment) to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionDEAR Inventory notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling with modified-since filters.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Demandbase through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionDemandbase notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Subscription API webhooks - company firmographic, company news, family-tree (ownership), and person employment-change alerts to a configurable URL.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to DEAR Inventory through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between DEAR Inventory and Demandbase: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as DEAR Inventory's Purchase orders and Customers), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for DEAR Inventory and Demandbase: Purchase history drives segmentation; Suppress or target existing customers; One customer identity across both systems. Orders, invoices, and revenue totals from DEAR Inventory land on the matching contact or account in Demandbase, so audiences are built from what customers actually bought and spent rather than from guesses.
DEAR Inventory: REST API. Authentication: Account ID plus application key sent as request headers. Demandbase: REST APIs (Demandbase One) - a B2B API (company/contact search, details, and match with async bulk enrichment jobs), a read-only Data Export API and a write-capable Data Import API (both async bulk jobs), and a Subscription API for webhook change alerts. Authentication: JWT bearer tokens minted from Demandbase One API Key Sets at the platform level; each credential set expires after 8 hours and is rotated. Legacy single-user API tokens are deprecated. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
DEAR Inventory: Authentication uses a two-part credential, an account ID and an application key, passed as headers on every request. Demandbase: Bulk jobs are asynchronous - submit a job, poll status, then download results; a submission takes up to 10,000 records, CSV uploads up to 5GB, and result URLs are valid for 24 hours. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between DEAR Inventory and Demandbase without custom code.
