Two-way sync
Changes in Nimble or Ramp instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Nimble and Ramp in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Finance and sales describe the same customers in different systems. Nimble knows the relationship: who the contacts are and what is in motion with the account. Ramp knows the money: what was invoiced, what was paid, what is overdue. When the two are connected only by exports, each side works partly blind.
Stacksync links Users, Departments, Reimbursements, Bills in Ramp to Tasks, Activities, Notes, Tags in Nimble with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, updated billing details, invoice status, and payment activity move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. The result is one version of each customer, visible from both sides.
Invoice and payment status from Ramp appears on the account in Nimble, so reps see overdue balances before they promise the next order.
When a contact or address is corrected in Nimble, Ramp gets the update before the next invoice goes out.
Finance sees the account owner and relationship history from Nimble when chasing a balance, and sales sees that the chase is happening.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Nimble objects | Ramp objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contacts Person records with multi-value fields for email, phone, and social profiles; the primary sync entity | Reimbursements Out-of-pocket expense claims; read for reporting and marked ready-to-sync then synced to the ERP. | Contacts is specific to Nimble and Reimbursements to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Companies Stored as contact records with a company record type, so they sync through the same contacts resource | Bills Accounts-payable bills; created, updated, approved, and paid, then posted ready-to-sync and synced to accounting. | Companies is specific to Nimble and Bills to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Deals Pipeline records linked to contacts, synced to keep revenue systems aligned with sales activity | Vendors Supplier records under the accounting namespace; uploaded and updated for AP matching and payments. | Deals is specific to Nimble and Vendors to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Tasks To-do items tied to contacts, mirrored into work-management tools or reporting tables | Funds (Spend Controls) Spend controls governing card usage; read and created via the funds API to enforce budgets per user, department, or program. | Tasks is specific to Nimble and Funds (Spend Controls) to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Activities Calls, events, and interaction history used for engagement reporting outside Nimble | General Ledger Accounts Chart-of-accounts entries uploaded from the ERP; accounting codings are posted back against transactions and bills. | Activities is specific to Nimble and General Ledger Accounts to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Notes Free-text records attached to contacts, replicated for a complete account timeline | Transactions Card purchase records with merchant, amount, and state; read for spend/GL sync and written back via accounting codings and sync status. | Notes is specific to Nimble and Transactions to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Nimble for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on record modification timestamps.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Ramp through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionRamp notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Signed webhooks (HMAC-SHA256 X-Ramp-Signature) for bill, transaction, reimbursement, vendor, and user events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Nimble through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Nimble–Ramp connection.
Changes in Nimble or Ramp instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Nimble or Ramp data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Nimble or Ramp record.
Track your Nimble ⇄ Ramp sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Nimble and Ramp.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Nimble and Ramp with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Nimble and Ramp objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Nimble and Ramp: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Nimble's Contacts and Companies), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Nimble and Ramp: Payment status on the account; Billing detail changes flow back; Collections with context. Invoice and payment status from Ramp appears on the account in Nimble, so reps see overdue balances before they promise the next order.
Nimble: REST API (JSON). Authentication: API key; OAuth 2.0 available for registered applications. Ramp: REST API (Developer API v1). Authentication: OAuth 2.0: exchange client_id/client_secret (HTTP Basic) at api.ramp.com/developer/v1/token for scoped bearer tokens; client_credentials grant for server-to-server and authorization_code for user-delegated access; scopes follow resource:permission (e.g. transactions:read, bills:write, accounting:write). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Ramp: Webhook payloads are event notifications (transactions.cleared, bills.paid, reimbursements.ready_to_sync); the full object must be re-fetched for complete detail. Nimble: Contact fields are multi-value with modifiers (for example work versus personal email), which field mappings need to account for. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Nimble and Ramp without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Nimble and Ramp records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Nimble and Ramp connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Nimble–Ramp integration in-house.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
Let your users access Stacksync from your centralized user management systems. Works with Okta, Azure, Google SSO and more.
