Two-way sync
Changes in Magento or Stripe instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Magento and Stripe in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Magento runs the storefront — the catalog, the orders, and the buyers placing them. Stripe records the money behind those orders — invoices, revenue, payments, and the ledger the business closes on. The overlap is every customer, order, and product both sides need to agree on, and when that overlap is bridged by CSV export or an overnight batch, finance reconciles against stale numbers while the store quotes prices or stock the books no longer recognize.
Stacksync syncs Subscriptions, Products, Prices, Refunds in Stripe with Invoices, Shipments, Carts / quotes, Products in Magento field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — an order's totals from Magento, its paid-or-overdue state from Stripe — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
The result is one shared record of who bought what and whether it has been paid, so the storefront, support, and the finance team all read from the same current data instead of re-keying it between systems.
Where both systems keep customer or buyer records, an edit in either propagates to the other, ending duplicate accounts and mismatched contact details.
Products, SKUs, and prices maintained on one side propagate to the other, so what the store sells and what the ledger books stay in step.
Refunds, cancellations, and credit notes raised in either system update the corresponding record in the other, keeping balances honest on both sides.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Magento objects | Stripe objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Products Catalog items keyed by SKU; carry created_at/updated_at for incremental polling and are written two-way from a PIM or ERP into the storefront. | Products Catalog entries kept aligned with internal product databases. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Customers Customer accounts and address book; synced two-way with a CRM so order history and contact records stay consistent. | Customers The billing identity most teams match against CRM accounts and contacts. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. Custom fields on either side are included in the mapping. | |
| Invoices Invoice documents tied to orders; read out for finance and revenue recognition, or created via the sales API when billing downstream. | Invoices Billing documents with line items, synced to ERPs and accounting systems. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Categories Catalog tree and product-to-category assignments; written into Magento to control merchandising and read out for taxonomy reporting. | PaymentIntents The lifecycle record of a payment attempt, from creation to success or failure. | Categories is specific to Magento and PaymentIntents to Stripe — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Orders Sales orders with line items, totals, and status; typically read out of Magento into a warehouse or ERP for fulfillment and revenue reporting. | Charges Individual captured payments underlying intents, used in reconciliation. | Orders is specific to Magento and Charges to Stripe — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Inventory source items (MSI) Per-source stock quantities under Multi-Source Inventory; written from a WMS/ERP so storefront stock matches the warehouse. | Subscriptions Recurring billing state that drives provisioning and CRM lifecycle stages. | Inventory source items (MSI) is specific to Magento and Subscriptions to Stripe — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionMagento notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling with searchCriteria filters on updated_at (catalog, sales, and customer entities carry created_at/updated_at).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Stripe through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Magento–Stripe connection.
Changes in Magento or Stripe instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Magento or Stripe data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Magento or Stripe record.
Track your Magento ⇄ Stripe sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Magento and Stripe.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Magento and Stripe with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Magento and Stripe objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Magento and Stripe: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Magento's Products and Customers), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Magento: REST and GraphQL Web APIs (SOAP also available). Authentication: Token-based OAuth: an integration's access token (consumer key/secret + access token/secret) or a Bearer admin token (default 4-hour expiry); Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service authenticates via Adobe IMS (OAuth 2). Stripe: REST API. Authentication: API keys (secret and restricted keys); OAuth 2.0 for Stripe Connect platforms. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Stripe: Monetary amounts are integers in minor units (for example cents), which mapping logic must convert for human-readable targets. Magento: Default maximum page size is 300 (Web API Input Limits); large sets must be paged with pageSize + currentPage, and entity_id cursor filters give more stable pagination than timestamp filters. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Magento and Stripe without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Magento and Stripe records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Magento and Stripe connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Magento–Stripe integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Magento and Stripe. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
