Two-way sync
Changes in Magento or Salesforce instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Magento and Salesforce in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Salesforce holds the customer relationship: the contacts, accounts, and deals a go-to-market team works. Magento runs the buying side: who placed which order, what they bought, and where it ships. The two describe the same people and companies, and when they are connected only by exports, sales answers questions without recent orders in front of them while the store works from account details that changed weeks ago.
Stacksync links Tasks and Events, Products and Price Books, Custom Objects, Accounts in Salesforce to Shipments, Carts / quotes, Products, Configurable / variant products in Magento with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, order activity, and corrected contact details move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. A record created or changed on either side shows up on the other within seconds, with no CSV exports and no nightly job.
The shared entity is the customer, matched on email or an external ID, so both systems agree on who the buyer is and the order history sits next to the relationship instead of in a separate tab.
A customer created in Magento creates or updates the matching contact or account in Salesforce, so first-time and repeat buyers land in the relationship system without a manual import.
An email, phone, or shipping and billing address corrected in either system updates the other, so the next order and the next outreach both use current information.
Lifecycle stage, tier, or account owner set in Salesforce syncs onto the customer record in Magento, so the buying side can act on how the relationship is classified.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Magento objects | Salesforce objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customers Customer accounts and address book; synced two-way with a CRM so order history and contact records stay consistent. | Tasks and Events Activity records; usually read-only in syncs to feed activity reporting. | Customers is specific to Magento and Tasks and Events to Salesforce — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Inventory source items (MSI) Per-source stock quantities under Multi-Source Inventory; written from a WMS/ERP so storefront stock matches the warehouse. | Products and Price Books Catalog and pricing data; commonly mastered in an ERP and written into Salesforce. | Inventory source items (MSI) is specific to Magento and Products and Price Books to Salesforce — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Invoices Invoice documents tied to orders; read out for finance and revenue recognition, or created via the sales API when billing downstream. | Custom Objects Org-specific tables with the __c suffix; discoverable via describe metadata so field mappings can be generated. | Invoices is specific to Magento and Custom Objects to Salesforce — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Shipments Shipment and tracking records against orders; created or read to drive fulfillment status between Magento and a 3PL/WMS. | Accounts Company records that anchor most syncs; typically mapped to customer tables in a database or ERP. | Shipments is specific to Magento and Accounts to Salesforce — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Carts / quotes Active and guest carts (quotes) with items and totals; read for abandoned-cart analysis (not available on the Cloud Service subset). | Contacts People linked to Accounts; synced two-way with marketing, support, and warehouse person records. | Carts / quotes is specific to Magento and Contacts to Salesforce — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Products Catalog items keyed by SKU; carry created_at/updated_at for incremental polling and are written two-way from a PIM or ERP into the storefront. | Leads Unqualified prospects; often written into Salesforce from enrichment or product-signup pipelines. | Products is specific to Magento and Leads to Salesforce — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionMagento notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling with searchCriteria filters on updated_at (catalog, sales, and customer entities carry created_at/updated_at).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Salesforce through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionChanges in Salesforce are captured at the source via change data capture — no polling loop against its API. Apex triggers are used whenever possible (Salesforce actively notifies Stacksync via an Apex trigger + callout class + remote site setting).

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Magento–Salesforce connection.
Changes in Magento or Salesforce instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Magento or Salesforce data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Magento or Salesforce record.
Track your Magento ⇄ Salesforce sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Magento and Salesforce.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Magento and Salesforce with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Magento and Salesforce objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Magento and Salesforce: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Magento's Customers and Inventory source items (MSI)), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Magento: REST and GraphQL Web APIs (SOAP also available). Authentication: Token-based OAuth: an integration's access token (consumer key/secret + access token/secret) or a Bearer admin token (default 4-hour expiry); Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service authenticates via Adobe IMS (OAuth 2). Salesforce: REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs. Authentication: OAuth login via a Salesforce user (browser-based authorization flow); requires "API Enabled" permission for polling mode, plus "Author Apex" and "Customize Application" OR "Modify All Data" for trigger mode. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Salesforce: Salesforce org must have API access enabled — Group and Essentials editions cannot use Stacksync; Professional requires the API add-on. Magento: Webhooks and Adobe I/O Events require installing and configuring the Adobe Commerce eventing modules (AdobeCommerceEventsClient), and events additionally need App Builder — not present on a base install. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Magento and Salesforce without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Magento and Salesforce records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Magento and Salesforce connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Magento–Salesforce integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Magento and Salesforce. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
