Two-way sync
Changes in Hibob or Vitally instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Hibob and Vitally in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Vitally runs on people as much as on accounts: every contact, deal, and account has an owner, and those owners are employees whose roles, teams, and status are held in Hibob. Hibob is the system of record for the workforce, from new hires to promotions to departures, and often for the candidates the business is still deciding on. When the two systems are connected only by re-keying or an overnight export, they drift apart, and the CRM ends up assigning accounts to people who have left, holding territories that no longer match the org chart, and waiting days to give a new rep access.
Stacksync syncs Task, Note, Conversation, NPS Response in Vitally with Named lists, People (Employees), Employment, Work in Hibob field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields, so Hibob stays authoritative on roles and org structure while Vitally keeps ownership and territory current, and Stacksync resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
A person's name, title, email, phone, or manager corrected in either system updates the other, so both stop maintaining separate copies of the same individual.
A person recorded in Hibob, such as a candidate or applicant, can create or update the matching contact in Vitally, so relationship history and outreach are not rebuilt from scratch when the same individual appears in both.
When Hibob records a new hire, a matching user or owner is created in Vitally, so a new rep can start working accounts without waiting on a manual setup ticket.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Hibob objects | Vitally objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Employment Historical table of job terms, contract, and working pattern under /people/{id}/employment; full CRUD, entries keyed by effectiveDate. | Note Account and user notes captured by success teams. | Employment is specific to Hibob and Note to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Work Reporting line, department, site, and title under /people/{id}/work; drives the org chart and is synced two-way to directories. | Conversation Customer conversations logged in Vitally; activity objects include parent object details in the payload. | Work is specific to Hibob and Conversation to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Salaries Compensation history at /people/{id}/salaries; full CRUD but gated behind the Payroll permission on the service user. | NPS Response NPS survey responses for account-health reporting. | Salaries is specific to Hibob and NPS Response to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Time off Absence requests and who's-out data via /timeoff/employees/{id}/requests and /timeoff/whosout; submit new requests and read balances. | Custom Trait Custom account and user traits for segmentation. | Time off is specific to Hibob and Custom Trait to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Lifecycle Hire, termination, and leave status changes at /people/{id}/lifecycle; read-only and the source of lifecycle webhook events. | Account Core customer account records with health scores and lifecycle traits; created, updated, retrieved, and listed via the REST API. | Lifecycle is specific to Hibob and Account to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Documents Employee documents accessed under the Docs API; gated behind the Documents permission granted per service user. | User End users tied to accounts, including activity and custom traits. | Documents is specific to Hibob and User to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionHibob notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks fire for employee created/updated/deleted, table-entry created/updated, time off, and lifecycle events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Vitally through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionVitally notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Incremental polling on updatedAt cursors.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Hibob and Vitally with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Hibob and Vitally objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Hibob and Vitally: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Hibob's Employment and Work), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Hibob and Vitally records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Hibob and Vitally connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Hibob–Vitally integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Hibob and Vitally. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Hibob: Webhooks fire for employee created/updated/deleted, table-entry created/updated, time off, and lifecycle events; the employee.updated payload flags which fields changed and Bob recommends an API call for the full record. There is no CDC stream, and deleting a table entry fires no webhook (Bob has no table-entry deletion event). On Vitally: Incremental polling on updatedAt cursors; playbook-triggered webhooks can push events for near real-time updates. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the Vitally side: Task, Note, Conversation, NPS Response, plus custom fields where Vitally exposes them. On the Hibob side: Named lists, People (Employees), Employment, Work. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
