Two-way sync
Changes in Dremio or Jobvite instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Dremio and Jobvite in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Workforce data is some of the most requested data in the warehouse and some of the most awkward to move: the record types are many, the fields carry sensitive personal information, the APIs are strict, and hand-built extract jobs go stale or break quietly. Whether Jobvite is the system of record for employees and payroll, for candidates and applications, or for learners and course completions, the reporting belongs in Dremio next to everything else the company measures.
Stacksync syncs New Hire, Employee, Attachment, Offer from Jobvite into tables in Dremio continuously, handling API limits and schema drift as they come. The connection is bi-directional, so values computed in Dremio, such as headcount rollups, cost allocations, or attrition risk flags, can be written back to fields in Jobvite where the HR team acts on them. You configure which records and fields cross over, and in which direction, instead of maintaining pipeline code.
Because changes stream continuously, reports query current workforce data rather than waiting for an overnight load window to finish.
A continuously synced copy in Dremio gives you a durable, queryable record of how Jobvite's records change over time, for headcount planning and audit questions.
Segments, rollups, or risk flags computed in Dremio sync back onto the matching records in Jobvite, where the HR team sees them in the system they already use.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Dremio objects | Jobvite objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sources Connected storage and database systems (S3, ADLS, relational databases) Dremio queries in place. | Candidate Read from the candidate feed (GET /candidate) and written back via POST /candidate/updateCandidates to change status, notes, and disposition on each record. | Sources is specific to Dremio and Candidate to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Physical datasets Tables and files promoted from sources; the raw data a sync ultimately reads. | Requisition (Job) Job openings created or updated through POST /job and read from GET /jobFeed; maps to opening tables in an ATS reporting warehouse. | Physical datasets is specific to Dremio and Requisition (Job) to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Virtual datasets (views) SQL views layering semantics over physical data; the preferred sync target for curated extracts. | Application Links a candidate to one requisition with its workflow state; read for pipeline reporting and status written back through the candidate update call. | Virtual datasets (views) is specific to Dremio and Application to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Apache Iceberg tables Lakehouse tables supporting DML and snapshot metadata usable for incremental reads. | Workflow Status The pipeline stage per application (Screen, Interview, Offer, Hired); updated through POST /candidate/updateCandidates to advance records. | Apache Iceberg tables is specific to Dremio and Workflow Status to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Spaces and folders Namespaces that organize virtual datasets and govern access. | New Hire Hired-candidate records surfaced in the candidate feed and via the candidate hired webhook; commonly written into an HRIS or onboarding tool. | Spaces and folders is specific to Dremio and New Hire to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Reflections Materialized accelerations that make repeated extraction queries cheaper. | Employee Employee roster pushed through POST /employee (Onboard sync), used for referral matching and internal-mobility job postings. | Reflections is specific to Dremio and Employee to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Dremio for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling via SQL.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Jobvite through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionJobvite notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. A candidate hired webhook, configured per customer by a Jobvite rep, POSTs to a custom URL on hire/offer-accepted events.
DeliveryEach detected change is applied to Dremio as a row-level write, with types converted between the two schemas.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Dremio and Jobvite with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Dremio and Jobvite objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Dremio and Jobvite: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Dremio's Sources and Physical datasets), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Dremio and Jobvite: Fresh data instead of last night's load; Queryable history for planning and audit; Write-back of computed values. Because changes stream continuously, reports query current workforce data rather than waiting for an overnight load window to finish.
Dremio: Arrow Flight SQL, JDBC/ODBC, and a REST API. Authentication: Personal access tokens or username/password; OAuth-based SSO on Dremio Cloud. Jobvite: REST API (JSON) with candidate, requisition (job), and employee feed endpoints under https://api.jobvite.com/{version}. Authentication: API key (api) and secret (sc) plus company ID (companyId), sent in request headers since Jobvite's April 1, 2024 move from URL-query to header-based auth. Credentials are provisioned per customer by Jobvite Support. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Dremio: Dremio queries data in place on lake storage (S3, ADLS, HDFS) rather than ingesting it, so syncs read through Dremio to underlying files and Iceberg tables. Jobvite: The /jobFeed endpoint supports only pagination (start, count) and category/location filters, with no modified-date parameter, so incremental job pulls rely on full-feed diffing. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Dremio and Jobvite without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Dremio and Jobvite records are not retained after a sync operation.
