Two-way sync
Changes in Cvent or Gorgias instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Cvent and Gorgias in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Gorgias owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Cvent runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Events, Custom fields, Tickets, Messages in Gorgias with Sessions, Speakers, Exhibitors, Surveys in Cvent field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — Gorgias can own account and opportunity status while Cvent owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Where Cvent builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in Gorgias, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
New leads or responders captured in Cvent flow into Gorgias assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
When a contact or lead is created or edited in either system, the matching record appears or updates in the other, so campaigns reach real people and reps see who is already being marketed to.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Cvent objects | Gorgias objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Events Top-level event containers created and updated through the Events endpoints; read out for reporting and written to provision events from an external system. | Events Activity records useful for auditing what happened on a ticket. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Speakers Speaker records tied to an event; synced two-way with a speaker database or CMS, with an updatedDate on each record for incremental pulls. | Satisfaction surveys CSAT responses synced out for support quality reporting. | Speakers is specific to Cvent and Satisfaction surveys to Gorgias — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Exhibitors Exhibitor and sponsor records; synced to a CRM or database to track booth, sponsorship, and lead-capture data per event. | Custom fields Extend tickets with brand-specific attributes. | Exhibitors is specific to Cvent and Custom fields to Gorgias — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Surveys Survey definitions and responses; read out to a warehouse for post-event feedback analysis alongside attendance data. | Tickets The central support object, aggregating a conversation across channels. | Surveys is specific to Cvent and Tickets to Gorgias — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Budgets Event budget line items; read into a finance database or ERP to reconcile planned versus actual event spend. | Messages Individual inbound and outbound messages attached to a ticket. | Budgets is specific to Cvent and Messages to Gorgias — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contacts Account-wide people database spanning every event; synced two-way with a CRM or warehouse as the shared audience source of truth via the Create Contacts endpoint. | Customers Unified shopper profiles that merge identities across connected stores. | Contacts is specific to Cvent and Customers to Gorgias — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCvent notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Per-event webhooks push attendee, registration, session, and speaker changes.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gorgias through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionGorgias notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for ticket and message events, supplemented by polling with updated-at cursors.

Pick the Cvent and Gorgias objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Cvent and Gorgias: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Cvent's Events and Speakers), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Cvent: Cvent REST API (JSON over HTTPS at api-platform.cvent.com/ea, paginated list endpoints). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials flow: a client ID and secret are Basic-auth exchanged for a 60-minute bearer token at api-platform.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token; legacy API-key and SOAP/CSN auth are deprecated. Gorgias: REST API. Authentication: API key paired with the account email over HTTP Basic auth; OAuth 2.0 for public apps. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Gorgias: Tickets aggregate messages from email, live chat, SMS, and social channels into a single object, so one synced record covers the full conversation. Cvent: OAuth bearer tokens expire after 60 minutes and must be refreshed via the client-credentials token endpoint before each batch of calls. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Cvent and Gorgias without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Cvent and Gorgias records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Cvent and Gorgias connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Cvent–Gorgias integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Cvent and Gorgias. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
