Two-way sync
Changes in Cvent or HubSpot instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Cvent and HubSpot in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
HubSpot owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Cvent runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Audit, Contact, Company, Deal in HubSpot with Surveys, Budgets, Events, Contacts in Cvent field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — HubSpot can own account and opportunity status while Cvent owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Cvent post back to the contact or account in HubSpot, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Where Cvent builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in HubSpot, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Cvent objects | HubSpot objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contacts Account-wide people database spanning every event; synced two-way with a CRM or warehouse as the shared audience source of truth via the Create Contacts endpoint. | Contact Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Exhibitors Exhibitor and sponsor records; synced to a CRM or database to track booth, sponsorship, and lead-capture data per event. | Stages Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Exhibitors is specific to Cvent and Stages to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Surveys Survey definitions and responses; read out to a warehouse for post-event feedback analysis alongside attendance data. | Audit Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Surveys is specific to Cvent and Audit to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Budgets Event budget line items; read into a finance database or ERP to reconcile planned versus actual event spend. | Company Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Budgets is specific to Cvent and Company to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Events Top-level event containers created and updated through the Events endpoints; read out for reporting and written to provision events from an external system. | Deal Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Events is specific to Cvent and Deal to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Attendees and Registrations Per-event registrants; written in from CRM or marketing signup flows via POST /ea/attendees and read back out to a warehouse for attendance and registration-status reporting. | Line Item Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Attendees and Registrations is specific to Cvent and Line Item to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCvent notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Per-event webhooks push attendee, registration, session, and speaker changes.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to HubSpot through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionHubSpot pushes changes as they happen — webhook events backed by change data capture. Records: incremental near-real-time change tracking.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Cvent and HubSpot: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Cvent's Contacts and Exhibitors), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
On the HubSpot side: Audit, Contact, Company, Deal, plus custom fields where HubSpot exposes them. On the Cvent side: Surveys, Budgets, Events, Contacts. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Cvent and HubSpot: Where Cvent captures engagement: activity lands on the record; Lead and lifecycle status agree; Segments and audiences follow the CRM. Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Cvent post back to the contact or account in HubSpot, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Cvent: Cvent REST API (JSON over HTTPS at api-platform.cvent.com/ea, paginated list endpoints). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials flow: a client ID and secret are Basic-auth exchanged for a 60-minute bearer token at api-platform.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token; legacy API-key and SOAP/CSN auth are deprecated. HubSpot: REST API (CRM v3). Authentication: OAuth (choose HubSpot account and authorize Stacksync); requires a HubSpot 'Super Admin' to grant access; optional "Grant access to sensitive fields" checkbox for sensitive/highly sensitive fields. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
HubSpot: Associations CDC Boost is unavailable on Free and Starter HubSpot accounts; without it, detecting association changes requires full scans (1M associations > 1 hour). Cvent: List endpoints are paginated and return a paging object, so large audiences must be walked page by page rather than pulled in a single call. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Cvent and HubSpot without custom code.
