Two-way sync
Changes in Campfire or Jobvite instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Campfire and Jobvite in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Each tool in Campfire keeps its own list of who can use it: users, members, or agents, along with the team they sit on and whether they are still active. Jobvite is the authoritative record of the same people as employees, with their department, manager, and employment status. When those two are connected only by manual account admin or a periodic export, the work tools drift: new hires wait days for access, team and manager changes never catch up, and people who have left keep standing accounts.
Stacksync syncs Bill, Debit Memo, Invoice, Credit Memo in Campfire with Employee, Attachment, Offer, Candidate in Jobvite bi-directionally and in real time. A person added, moved, or offboarded in Jobvite creates or updates the matching user in Campfire within seconds, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution in place of spreadsheets and one-off account changes. Where Campfire captures details of its own, such as a corrected contact or a login identity, those can flow back to Jobvite in whichever direction you configure.
Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps its own extras; only the shared facts, who a person is, which team they belong to, and whether their access should be on, are held in agreement.
When someone is marked as leaving in Jobvite, the matching account in Campfire is deactivated or flagged, so departures do not leave open access behind.
A person's name, title, contact details, or status corrected in either system updates the other, so both sides stop maintaining separate copies of the same person.
Department, team, and reporting-line changes from Jobvite keep the groups, queues, or projects in Campfire assigned to the right people.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Campfire objects | Jobvite objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chart Transaction Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | New Hire Hired-candidate records surfaced in the candidate feed and via the candidate hired webhook; commonly written into an HRIS or onboarding tool. | Chart Transaction is specific to Campfire and New Hire to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Fixed Asset Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Employee Employee roster pushed through POST /employee (Onboard sync), used for referral matching and internal-mobility job postings. | Fixed Asset is specific to Campfire and Employee to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Fixed Asset Class Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Attachment Resumes, cover letters, and files attached to a candidate; synced out to object storage or a document management system. | Fixed Asset Class is specific to Campfire and Attachment to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Bill Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Offer Offer state tied to an application (extended, accepted, declined); read out for offer-acceptance reporting and written to downstream comp or HR systems. | Bill is specific to Campfire and Offer to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Debit Memo Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Candidate Read from the candidate feed (GET /candidate) and written back via POST /candidate/updateCandidates to change status, notes, and disposition on each record. | Debit Memo is specific to Campfire and Candidate to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Invoice Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Requisition (Job) Job openings created or updated through POST /job and read from GET /jobFeed; maps to opening tables in an ATS reporting warehouse. | Invoice is specific to Campfire and Requisition (Job) to Jobvite — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCampfire pushes changes as they happen — webhook events backed by change data capture. Near real-time updates via change tracking (incremental sync).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Jobvite through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionJobvite notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. A candidate hired webhook, configured per customer by a Jobvite rep, POSTs to a custom URL on hire/offer-accepted events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Campfire through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Campfire–Jobvite connection.

Pick the Campfire and Jobvite objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Campfire and Jobvite: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Campfire's Chart Transaction and Fixed Asset), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Campfire: HTTP endpoints for bot integrations on a self-hosted instance. Authentication: API key — create an API user with a Super User Role in Campfire (Settings -> API Keys), generate an API Key secret, and provide it in the Stacksync connection setup. Jobvite: REST API (JSON) with candidate, requisition (job), and employee feed endpoints under https://api.jobvite.com/{version}. Authentication: API key (api) and secret (sc) plus company ID (companyId), sent in request headers since Jobvite's April 1, 2024 move from URL-query to header-based auth. Credentials are provisioned per customer by Jobvite Support. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Campfire: The current Campfire is distributed by 37signals as self-hosted, open-source software, so the available integration surface depends on the deployed instance and its version. Jobvite: API access is provisioned per customer by Jobvite; integration credentials and the candidate hired webhook URL are configured with a Jobvite rep, not self-serve. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Campfire and Jobvite without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Campfire and Jobvite records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Campfire and Jobvite connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Campfire–Jobvite integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Campfire and Jobvite. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
