Braintree: Braintree GraphQL API (single POST endpoint) plus legacy server SDKs. Authentication: API Key authentication — public key + private key Base64-encoded in the Authorization header (HTTP Basic); client tokens/tokenization keys for client-side calls and OAuth for platform/marketplace access. Magento: REST and GraphQL Web APIs (SOAP also available). Braintree: The Vault stores payment methods as tokens; raw card numbers are never returned for PCI reasons, so only tokens, last-four, and expiry are syncable. Magento: Default maximum page size is 300 (Web API Input Limits); large sets must be paged with pageSize + currentPage, and entity_id cursor filters give more stable pagination than timestamp filters. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Braintree and Magento without custom code.
