Two-way sync
Changes in Braintree or Nuorder instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Braintree and Nuorder in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Nuorder runs the storefront — the catalog, the orders, and the buyers placing them. Braintree records the money behind those orders — invoices, revenue, payments, and the ledger the business closes on. The overlap is every customer, order, and product both sides need to agree on, and when that overlap is bridged by CSV export or an overnight batch, finance reconciles against stale numbers while the store quotes prices or stock the books no longer recognize.
Stacksync syncs Disputes, Add-ons and Discounts, Merchant Accounts and Disbursements, Customers in Braintree with Line Items, Inventory (ATS), Pricing / Price Lists, Payments in Nuorder field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — an order's totals from Nuorder, its paid-or-overdue state from Braintree — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
The result is one shared record of who bought what and whether it has been paid, so the storefront, support, and the finance team all read from the same current data instead of re-keying it between systems.
Products, SKUs, and prices maintained on one side propagate to the other, so what the store sells and what the ledger books stay in step.
Refunds, cancellations, and credit notes raised in either system update the corresponding record in the other, keeping balances honest on both sides.
A new or updated order in Nuorder creates or updates the matching invoice or revenue record in Braintree, so billing and reporting start without re-entry.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Braintree objects | Nuorder objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Merchant Accounts and Disbursements The accounts funds settle into plus settlement batches paid out; disbursement webhooks and settlement batch reports drive reconciliation feeds. | Pricing / Price Lists Wholesale and retail price data attached to products through the product data feeds; read out for margin reporting or written in during catalog loads. | Merchant Accounts and Disbursements is specific to Braintree and Pricing / Price Lists to Nuorder — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Customers Vaulted customer profiles that hold payment methods; created and updated two-way via the API and searchable by created/updated date range. | Payments Payment status and detail returned alongside Orders (the modified-orders date-range query returns the order plus its payment information); read-oriented in most syncs. | Customers is specific to Braintree and Payments to Nuorder — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Transactions Sales, refunds, and credits; created through the API but immutable after that (only void/refund/settle transitions), so syncs treat them as append-only with status changes. | Products Fluent-schema catalog records (style, SKU, images, custom fields); brands push them in via /api/product/new (POST) and update via /api/product/{id} (PUT), typically mastered in a PIM or ERP. | Transactions is specific to Braintree and Products to Nuorder — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Payment Methods Tokenized credit cards, PayPal accounts, and other instruments stored in the Vault against a Customer; only tokens, last-four, and expiry are exposed, never raw PAN. | Orders Wholesale sales orders with nested line items and payment info; read via /api/orders/{status}/detail, created via /api/order/new (PUT), and advanced via /api/order/{id}/process and /cancel. | Payment Methods is specific to Braintree and Orders to Nuorder — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Subscriptions Recurring billing agreements tied to a Plan and a Payment Method; created, updated, and canceled via the API and emitting webhooks on every lifecycle change. | Companies Retailer and customer accounts (buyers, doors); enumerated via /api/companies/codes/list and created through the customer-creation API, commonly synced with a CRM or ERP. | Subscriptions is specific to Braintree and Companies to Nuorder — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Plans Recurring billing plans (price, billing cycle) configured in the Control Panel; readable through the API but not creatable, so they sync one-way. | Line Items SKU, quantity, and price rows nested inside each Order; the unit ERPs and fulfillment systems consume when an order is written out. | Plans is specific to Braintree and Line Items to Nuorder — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionBraintree notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks (subscription, transaction, dispute, disbursement, payment method, account updater) for near-real-time events, plus created/updated.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Nuorder through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionStacksync polls Nuorder for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on modified date: a date-range order endpoint returns the IDs of orders changed within a UTC start/end window.

Pick the Braintree and Nuorder objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Braintree and Nuorder: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Braintree's Merchant Accounts and Disbursements and Customers), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Braintree and Nuorder: Catalog and pricing stay aligned; Refunds and credits reconcile; Where Nuorder originates orders: sales flow into the books. Products, SKUs, and prices maintained on one side propagate to the other, so what the store sells and what the ledger books stay in step.
Braintree: Braintree GraphQL API (single POST endpoint) plus legacy server SDKs. Authentication: API Key authentication — public key + private key Base64-encoded in the Authorization header (HTTP Basic); client tokens/tokenization keys for client-side calls and OAuth for platform/marketplace access. Nuorder: REST API (JSON), with optional SFTP flat-file data feeds. Authentication: OAuth 1.0 — consumer key/secret plus an access token/secret issued per approved application in the NuORDER Portal (Admin > Settings > API Management > Approved Applications). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Braintree: GraphQL is the modern surface, but many operations still run through the legacy server SDKs, and date-range search on created/updated is how incremental reads work outside webhooks. Nuorder: Sandbox and production are separate hosts (wholesale.sandbox1.nuorder.com vs wholesale.nuorder.com), so credentials and record IDs do not carry across environments. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Braintree and Nuorder without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Braintree and Nuorder records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Braintree and Nuorder connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Braintree–Nuorder integration in-house.
