Two-way sync
Changes in Adyen or Ukg Pro instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Adyen and Ukg Pro in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Adyen runs the money side of the company: who gets paid, what it costs, and which part of the business the cost belongs to. Ukg Pro runs the people side: who works here, which team they sit in, and how their employment changes over time. The two overlap on the same people and the same org structure, because every employee is also a payee and every department is also a cost center. When that overlap is maintained by hand, a new hire, a transfer, or a termination has to be keyed twice, and the two systems start to disagree about who is active and where the cost lands.
Stacksync syncs Payments, Modifications (Captures, Refunds, Cancels), Payment Links, Merchant Accounts in Adyen with Terminations, Configuration Setup (Code Tables), Time & Attendance (UTA), Employee (Person Details) in Ukg Pro bi-directionally and in real time. A person added, updated, or deactivated on either side appears on the other within seconds, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution in place of CSV exports and nightly batch jobs.
That matters most when money follows a people event. A hire that finance can pay, a leaver whose access ends, a transfer that redirects cost to the right team, all happen from one change instead of two, so headcount and spend reconcile from the same set of records.
A role, department, or employment-status change in either system updates the other within seconds, so cost allocation, access, and reporting reflect the current state.
Compensation, reimbursements, or other costs tied to a person on the Ukg Pro side flow into Adyen for posting, so the books reflect what people actually cost without manual re-entry.
When someone is added in Ukg Pro, a matching employee or payee record appears in Adyen, ready for payroll, expenses, or cost allocation without anyone rekeying the details.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Adyen objects | Ukg Pro objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Settlement Detail Reports Downloadable reports of settled transactions, fees, and payouts per merchant account; read-only, delivered when a report webhook fires, and loaded for finance reconciliation. | Time & Attendance (UTA) Timekeeping and worked-hours data exposed by the UTA services; synced into scheduling, payroll, or workforce-analytics databases. | Settlement Detail Reports is specific to Adyen and Time & Attendance (UTA) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Payments Checkout API payment requests and results (/payments); created to authorize a card, wallet, or local payment, and retrieved by pspReference. Final state arrives asynchronously via the AUTHORISATION webhook. | Employee (Person Details) Core worker record with demographics and identifiers; read by listing employee IDs then fetching each profile, and created on hire via the personnel/onboarding endpoints. | Payments is specific to Adyen and Employee (Person Details) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Modifications (Captures, Refunds, Cancels) Actions on an authorized payment via /payments/{pspReference}/captures, /refunds, and /cancels; written to settle, return, or void funds, with results confirmed by CAPTURE and REFUND webhooks. | Employment Details Employment status, hire and service dates, and company assignment; the record that drives active/terminated state for provisioning downstream. | Modifications (Captures, Refunds, Cancels) is specific to Adyen and Employment Details to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Payment Links Hosted payment link objects created through /paymentLinks; created, retrieved, and expired, with paid or expired status reported back through webhooks for accounts-receivable sync. | Job / Position History Effective-dated job, position, department, supervisor, location, and cost center; the most-synced record for org charts, provisioning, and analytics. | Payment Links is specific to Adyen and Job / Position History to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Merchant Accounts Company and merchant account entities in the Management API; read and updated to keep account configuration, payment-method settings, and capabilities aligned with internal systems. | Compensation Details Effective-dated pay rate and salary; usually read into a warehouse for comp reporting and writable as new dated changes through the compensation endpoints. | Merchant Accounts is specific to Adyen and Compensation Details to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Stores Physical and online store entities under a merchant account (Management API); full CRUD, so new locations and their payment-method configuration can be provisioned from an internal admin source. | Payroll (Pay Statements, Direct Deposit, Earnings) Pay statements, direct-deposit accounts, and earnings history; read-only pay data replicated into finance and warehouse systems for labor-cost reporting. | Stores is specific to Adyen and Payroll (Pay Statements, Direct Deposit, Earnings) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionAdyen notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Standard webhooks for payment events (AUTHORISATION, CAPTURE, REFUND, CHARGEBACK, and more) plus Management, Balance Platform, and report webhooks.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Ukg Pro through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionUkg Pro notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. No CDC stream.

Pick the Adyen and Ukg Pro objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Adyen and Ukg Pro: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Adyen's Settlement Detail Reports and Payments), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Adyen and Ukg Pro: Status changes propagate; People-driven costs land in finance; New person becomes a known record in finance. A role, department, or employment-status change in either system updates the other within seconds, so cost allocation, access, and reporting reflect the current state.
Adyen: REST APIs on adyen.com - Checkout (/checkout/v71), Management (/v3), Balance Platform / Configuration, Transfers, Payouts, and Reports, with standard webhooks for events. Authentication: API key in the X-API-Key header per web service or Balance Platform user (primary for Checkout, Management, and Balance Platform); Basic auth for classic web-service users; OAuth 2.0 for partner integrations; client keys are client-side only. Ukg Pro: REST API (UKG Pro HCM REST services) with separate Onboarding and Recruiting REST APIs, plus legacy SOAP-based UKG Pro Web Services. Authentication: Core HCM REST APIs use HTTP Basic authentication with a dedicated web service account, plus a Customer API Key and a User API Key sent as headers (found under System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration); the Onboarding and Recruiting REST APIs instead require a bearer Authorization Token from the token endpoint. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Adyen: Adyen has no generic list-all-payments endpoint; historical transaction data is retrieved from Settlement Detail Reports and reconciled with the pspReference from webhooks, and amounts are expressed in minor units with a currency code. Ukg Pro: UKG Pro publishes webhook events (new hire, employee and job detail changes, termination, PTO) for near-real-time change notification; there is no CDC stream, so historical loads still rely on paged modified-since reads. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Adyen and Ukg Pro without custom code.
