Two-way sync
Changes in Ramp or Sysaid instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Ramp and Sysaid in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Ramp holds the financial truth: who the customers are, what they were billed, what they paid. Sysaid is where part of the day-to-day work happens, and that work often involves the same customers and transactions. Without a live connection, the two drift apart, and people end up answering questions from stale copies.
Stacksync keeps Reimbursements, Bills, Vendors, Funds (Spend Controls) in Ramp and Changes, Users, Assets, Configuration Items (CIs) in Sysaid in sync, bi-directionally and in real time. Whatever records Sysaid keeps and whatever events it produces, the overlap with Ramp is mapped field by field, and a change on either side shows up on the other within seconds.
There is no middleware to build, no API rate limits to babysit, and no nightly job that leaves the morning running on yesterday's data.
Payment and charge activity flows into Ramp as it happens, so the books reflect reality without manual reconciliation.
A customer's details updated in either system update the other, so finance and the rest of the business stop maintaining two versions of the same customer.
Front-line teams see invoice and payment status from Ramp next to the customer they are helping, without logging into the finance system.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Ramp objects | Sysaid objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Users Employee and cardholder records; invited, updated, and deactivated, commonly synced from an HRIS or identity provider. | Users End users and admins on the /users endpoint; synced with an HRIS or identity source to keep requester and agent records current. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Departments Org groupings for cost-center and GL allocation; pushed from an ERP/HRIS and referenced by cards and transactions. | Service Requests Catalog and help-desk requests on the same /sr endpoint (type=request); written or read so fulfillment can be driven from another system. | Departments is specific to Ramp and Service Requests to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Reimbursements Out-of-pocket expense claims; read for reporting and marked ready-to-sync then synced to the ERP. | Problems Root-cause records that group related incidents; read and written to keep problem management aligned with an external ITSM or reporting store. | Reimbursements is specific to Ramp and Problems to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Bills Accounts-payable bills; created, updated, approved, and paid, then posted ready-to-sync and synced to accounting. | Changes Change records (type=change) with approval and scheduling fields; synced two-way to drive CAB review and deployment workflows. | Bills is specific to Ramp and Changes to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Vendors Supplier records under the accounting namespace; uploaded and updated for AP matching and payments. | Assets Hardware and software inventory; read out to a warehouse or written from a discovery or CMDB source of truth. | Vendors is specific to Ramp and Assets to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Funds (Spend Controls) Spend controls governing card usage; read and created via the funds API to enforce budgets per user, department, or program. | Configuration Items (CIs) CMDB entries and their relationships; synced with an external CMDB or asset database for one inventory view. | Funds (Spend Controls) is specific to Ramp and Configuration Items (CIs) to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionRamp notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Signed webhooks (HMAC-SHA256 X-Ramp-Signature) for bill, transaction, reimbursement, vendor, and user events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Sysaid through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionSysaid notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks (beta) push sr.created and sr.updated events with changed-field diffs and an X-Sysaid-Signature.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Ramp through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Ramp–Sysaid connection.
Changes in Ramp or Sysaid instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Ramp or Sysaid data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Ramp or Sysaid record.
Track your Ramp ⇄ Sysaid sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Ramp and Sysaid.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Ramp and Sysaid with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Ramp and Sysaid objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Ramp and Sysaid: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Ramp's Users and Departments), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
On the Ramp side: Reimbursements, Bills, Vendors, Funds (Spend Controls), plus custom fields where Ramp exposes them. On the Sysaid side: Changes, Users, Assets, Configuration Items (CIs). Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Ramp and Sysaid: Where Sysaid collects payments or triggers charges: events land in Ramp; Where Sysaid tracks people or companies: one identity; Where Sysaid handles customer conversations: billing context in view. Payment and charge activity flows into Ramp as it happens, so the books reflect reality without manual reconciliation.
Ramp: REST API (Developer API v1). Authentication: OAuth 2.0: exchange client_id/client_secret (HTTP Basic) at api.ramp.com/developer/v1/token for scoped bearer tokens; client_credentials grant for server-to-server and authorization_code for user-delegated access; scopes follow resource:permission (e.g. transactions:read, bills:write, accounting:write). Sysaid: REST API (JSON). Authentication: Client-credentials app keys: an application key (clientId/clientSecret) is created via /v1/application-keys, then exchanged at /v1/access-tokens for a bearer token (default 24h, up to 30 days); an x-sysaid-accountid header scopes the account. Legacy V0 uses session-cookie login. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Ramp: Webhook payloads are event notifications (transactions.cleared, bills.paid, reimbursements.ready_to_sync); the full object must be re-fetched for complete detail. Sysaid: List endpoints are paginated with a limit parameter, so full syncs must page through large result sets rather than pulling everything in one call. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Ramp and Sysaid without custom code.
