Authentication: Client-credentials app keys: an application key (clientId/clientSecret) is created via /v1/application-keys, then exchanged at /v1/access-tokens for a bearer token (default 24h, up to 30 days); an x-sysaid-accountid header scopes the account. Legacy V0 uses session-cookie login. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Sysaid: The v1 API authenticates with client-credentials app keys, and each organization is limited to 100 application keys, so an integration should reuse a single key. Opsgenie: Authentication uses per-integration API keys, each scoped to the actions and teams that integration is permitted to perform. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Opsgenie and Sysaid without custom code.
