Two-way sync
Changes in Jobvite or SAP Business One instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Jobvite and SAP Business One in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Jobvite is the system of record for people: who was hired, which department and location they sit in, who they report to, and how they are paid. SAP Business One runs finance and operations, and much of what it does depends on that same information, from booking labor cost to approving an expense report to staffing a project. Where the two are bridged by re-keying or an overnight file, each side spends the day out of step, with new hires missing from the systems they need and leavers still active where they should not be.
Stacksync syncs Warehouses, Price Lists, Activities, Business Partners in SAP Business One with Attachment, Offer, Candidate, Requisition (Job) in Jobvite field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields, so the people side stays authoritative for worker data while SAP Business One keeps its own accounting and operational detail, and every change made in one is reflected in the other within seconds instead of at the next batch run.
A new person set up in Jobvite becomes an employee record in SAP Business One in time to submit expenses, enter time, or approve a purchase, without waiting on manual setup.
Departments, cost centers, and locations that both systems reference stay in agreement, so labor cost, approvals, and reporting in SAP Business One roll up to the same structure Jobvite maintains.
Manager and reporting-hierarchy changes in Jobvite keep expense and purchase approval chains in SAP Business One pointed at the right people.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Jobvite objects | SAP Business One objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Offer Offer state tied to an application (extended, accepted, declined); read out for offer-acceptance reporting and written to downstream comp or HR systems. | Warehouses Stock locations that scope inventory quantities in item syncs. | Offer is specific to Jobvite and Warehouses to SAP Business One — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Candidate Read from the candidate feed (GET /candidate) and written back via POST /candidate/updateCandidates to change status, notes, and disposition on each record. | Price Lists Pricing data synced to quoting and e-commerce platforms. | Candidate is specific to Jobvite and Price Lists to SAP Business One — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Requisition (Job) Job openings created or updated through POST /job and read from GET /jobFeed; maps to opening tables in an ATS reporting warehouse. | Activities CRM-style tasks and interactions aligned with external sales tools. | Requisition (Job) is specific to Jobvite and Activities to SAP Business One — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Application Links a candidate to one requisition with its workflow state; read for pipeline reporting and status written back through the candidate update call. | Business Partners Combined customer, vendor, and lead master records; the anchor object for most syncs. | Application is specific to Jobvite and Business Partners to SAP Business One — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workflow Status The pipeline stage per application (Screen, Interview, Offer, Hired); updated through POST /candidate/updateCandidates to advance records. | Items Product master data including inventory levels, aligned with e-commerce and warehouse systems. | Workflow Status is specific to Jobvite and Items to SAP Business One — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| New Hire Hired-candidate records surfaced in the candidate feed and via the candidate hired webhook; commonly written into an HRIS or onboarding tool. | Sales Orders Order documents with header and line structure created from external channels. | New Hire is specific to Jobvite and Sales Orders to SAP Business One — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionJobvite notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. A candidate hired webhook, configured per customer by a Jobvite rep, POSTs to a custom URL on hire/offer-accepted events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to SAP Business One through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionStacksync polls SAP Business One for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on update timestamps.

Common patterns for Jobvite and SAP Business One: New hires ready to transact in SAP Business One; One org structure; Reporting lines drive approvals. A new person set up in Jobvite becomes an employee record in SAP Business One in time to submit expenses, enter time, or approve a purchase, without waiting on manual setup.
Jobvite: REST API (JSON) with candidate, requisition (job), and employee feed endpoints under https://api.jobvite.com/{version}. Authentication: API key (api) and secret (sc) plus company ID (companyId), sent in request headers since Jobvite's April 1, 2024 move from URL-query to header-based auth. Credentials are provisioned per customer by Jobvite Support. SAP Business One: Service Layer, a REST API based on OData, plus the legacy COM-based DI API. Authentication: Session-based login with company database, username, and password against the Service Layer. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
SAP Business One: User-defined fields (prefixed U_) and user-defined objects appear on the same API surface as standard fields, so tenant customizations are reachable by syncs. Jobvite: As of April 1, 2024 Jobvite requires credentials (api key plus sc secret) in request headers; the older URL-query authentication was retired. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Jobvite and SAP Business One without custom code.
