Two-way sync
Changes in Ironclad or Odoo instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Ironclad and Odoo in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
The ERP holds the records the business is run on, and it is rarely where day-to-day work happens. Ironclad is closer to the work, and the two often need the same facts about the same people, organizations, and transactions. Bridging them by hand, or by nightly file transfer, leaves each side out of date for hours at a time.
Stacksync syncs Workflow Documents, Workflows, Records, Entities in Ironclad with Sales Orders (sale.order), Invoices (account.move), Products (product.template / product.product), CRM Leads (crm.lead) in Odoo bi-directionally and in real time, with field-level mapping and rules for which system wins on conflict. Changes made where the work happens reach the system of record within seconds, and the reverse.
Order, invoice, or account status from Odoo appears alongside the customer in Ironclad, so front-line teams answer from live data.
Payment events sync into Odoo as they occur, keeping the enterprise records current without manual entry.
Worker and organization data from Odoo stays current in Ironclad, so the tools people use daily reflect the org as it actually is.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Ironclad objects | Odoo objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Webhooks Event subscriptions that push workflow, approval, signature, document, and comment changes to Stacksync in near real time; created, listed, and deleted through the API across 40+ event types. | Contacts (res.partner) The unified person/company record used across sales, invoicing, and purchasing; the anchor for CRM syncs. | Webhooks is specific to Ironclad and Contacts (res.partner) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workflow Approvals Per-workflow approval requests and their state; read to report approval status and cycle time, and status changes arrive live through the workflow_approval_status_changed event. | Sales Orders (sale.order) Quotations and confirmed orders synced with e-commerce and external CRMs. | Workflow Approvals is specific to Ironclad and Sales Orders (sale.order) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Signature Packets The e-signature packets on a workflow (sent, signatures collected, fully signed); read to track signing progress, with packet events delivered by webhook for real-time status. | Invoices (account.move) Customer invoices and journal entries synced with accounting and reporting tools. | Signature Packets is specific to Ironclad and Invoices (account.move) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workflow Documents Draft and executed documents attached to a workflow; retrieved to pull generated or signed files out into a document store or archive. | Products (product.template / product.product) Catalog and variant data distributed to storefronts and quoting tools. | Workflow Documents is specific to Ironclad and Products (product.template / product.product) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workflows The core unit of Ironclad: a live contract process (NDA, MSA, order form) moving through creation, review, approval, and signature. Launched via POST, updated via PATCH, and read for status, so contract processes move two-way between Ironclad and a database, CRM, or ERP. | CRM Leads (crm.lead) Leads and opportunities synced with marketing and enrichment systems. | Workflows is specific to Ironclad and CRM Leads (crm.lead) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Records The Repository of executed and stored contracts with metadata (value, counterparty, key dates, type) and attachments; full create, read, update, and delete so signed-contract data and PDFs sync to a warehouse, ERP, or CRM. | Purchase Orders (purchase.order) Procurement documents shared with supplier-facing systems. | Records is specific to Ironclad and Purchase Orders (purchase.order) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionIronclad notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Native webhook subscriptions (POST /webhooks) fire on 40+ workflow, approval, signature, document, and comment events, and Ironclad retries a failing.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Odoo through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionOdoo notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling on the write_date timestamp every record carries.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Ironclad and Odoo: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Ironclad's Webhooks and Workflow Approvals), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Ironclad: REST/JSON Public API (CLM API) at https://na1.ironcladapp.com/public/api/v1 (NA1 and EU1 regions plus a demo/sandbox), with a native Webhooks subscription API; described by an OpenAPI 3.1 spec. Authentication: OAuth 2.0 - Authorization Code grant (PKCE for public clients) and Client Credentials grant for server-to-server; access tokens are Bearer, expire after 6 hours, and every endpoint is gated by a resource scope. The legacy static API bearer token was deprecated on 2024-11-22. Odoo: XML-RPC and JSON-RPC external API exposing the full ORM (search_read, create, write, unlink). Authentication: Database user credentials or per-user API keys. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Ironclad: The Public API is write-capable: you can launch and bulk-launch workflows, update workflow attributes, and create, update, or delete records, entities, and obligations - it is not a read-only export. Odoo: Hosting mode matters: self-hosted and Odoo.sh instances allow deeper access than Odoo Online, which restricts custom server code. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Ironclad and Odoo without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Ironclad and Odoo records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Ironclad and Odoo connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Ironclad–Odoo integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Ironclad and Odoo. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
