Two-way sync
Changes in Gong or Hibob instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Gong and Hibob in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Gong runs on people as much as on accounts: every contact, deal, and account has an owner, and those owners are employees whose roles, teams, and status are held in Hibob. Hibob is the system of record for the workforce, from new hires to promotions to departures, and often for the candidates the business is still deciding on. When the two systems are connected only by re-keying or an overnight export, they drift apart, and the CRM ends up assigning accounts to people who have left, holding territories that no longer match the org chart, and waiting days to give a new rep access.
Stacksync syncs Transcripts, Users, Interaction Stats (Activity), Trackers & Scorecards in Gong with Time off, Lifecycle, Documents, Named lists in Hibob field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields, so Hibob stays authoritative on roles and org structure while Gong keeps ownership and territory current, and Stacksync resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
When Hibob records a new hire, a matching user or owner is created in Gong, so a new rep can start working accounts without waiting on a manual setup ticket.
When a person changes team, manager, or region in Hibob, their accounts and territory assignments in Gong update to match, so pipeline stays with the right owner.
When Hibob marks a worker as departed, the matching user in Gong is flagged or deactivated, so former employees do not keep CRM access after their last day.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Gong objects | Hibob objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| CRM Objects Accounts, opportunities, stages, and users uploaded into Gong through the CRM integration API so CRM context appears alongside conversations. Write (upload) path. | Documents Employee documents accessed under the Docs API; gated behind the Documents permission granted per service user. | CRM Objects is specific to Gong and Documents to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Library Call-library folders and folder content (curated calls and snippets) read via GET /v2/library/folders and /v2/library/folder-content. Read-only. | Named lists Dropdown option lists such as departments and sites used to resolve field values when mapping People records during sync. | Library is specific to Gong and Named lists to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Data Privacy (Erasure) GDPR/CCPA deletion handled by POST /v2/data-privacy/erase-data-for-email, with data-for-email lookups on the read side; a write path used for compliance deletions. | People (Employees) Core employee records with out-of-the-box and custom fields; read via POST /people/search, created and updated through the /people endpoints. | Data Privacy (Erasure) is specific to Gong and People (Employees) to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Calls Retrieved via POST /v2/calls/extensive with participants, topics, trackers, scorecards, and media URLs, filtered by fromDateTime/toDateTime; external recordings are also imported via POST /v2/calls with media uploaded via PUT /v2/calls/{id}/media. Read and write. | Employment Historical table of job terms, contract, and working pattern under /people/{id}/employment; full CRUD, entries keyed by effectiveDate. | Calls is specific to Gong and Employment to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Transcripts Speaker-attributed, timestamped sentences retrieved via POST /v2/calls/transcript for one or more callIds; available only after asynchronous processing completes. Read-only. | Work Reporting line, department, site, and title under /people/{id}/work; drives the org chart and is synced two-way to directories. | Transcripts is specific to Gong and Work to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Users Gong users and team members with roles, titles, email, and settings, read via GET /v2/users to map call owners and participants to CRM and warehouse identities. Read-only. | Salaries Compensation history at /people/{id}/salaries; full CRUD but gated behind the Payroll permission on the service user. | Users is specific to Gong and Salaries to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Gong for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling POST /v2/calls/extensive on fromDateTime/toDateTime.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Hibob through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionHibob notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks fire for employee created/updated/deleted, table-entry created/updated, time off, and lifecycle events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gong through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Gong and Hibob: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Gong's CRM Objects and Library), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Gong and Hibob: New team members provisioned when they are hired; Ownership and territory follow the org chart; Deactivate access when someone leaves. When Hibob records a new hire, a matching user or owner is created in Gong, so a new rep can start working accounts without waiting on a manual setup ticket.
Gong: REST API on api.gong.io/v2 - retrieval endpoints (calls, transcript, users, stats, settings, library, logs) plus write endpoints for importing calls, uploading CRM data, and data-privacy erasure. Authentication: Basic authorization header combining an Access Key and Access Key Secret (created by a Gong technical admin, base64-encoded as key:secret); OAuth 2.0 Bearer tokens are supported for marketplace apps. Hibob: REST API (the Bob API). Authentication: Service User credentials over HTTP Basic auth (Base64-encoded serviceUserId:serviceUserToken); permissions granted per data category (People, Payroll, Documents) in Bob admin. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Gong: Rate limits default to 3 API calls per second and 10,000 calls per day per company; exceeding returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header, and limits can be raised by contacting Gong. Hibob: The API uses cursor-based pagination (pageSize up to 1000 with a next-cursor token); offset-based pagination is not supported. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Gong and Hibob without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Gong and Hibob records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Gong and Hibob connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Gong–Hibob integration in-house.
