Two-way sync
Changes in Cvent or Infor M3 instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Cvent and Infor M3 in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Marketing runs on lists of people, but the list rarely knows which of those people are paying customers, what they ordered, or what they are worth. Infor M3 holds exactly that: Customers, Suppliers, Customer Orders, Purchase Orders that record who the customer is, what they bought, and what they owe. When the two are joined only by a periodic export, campaigns go out against stale audiences, existing customers get prospecting emails, high-value accounts look the same as cold leads, and a canceled order still counts toward a segment.
Stacksync syncs Customers, Suppliers, Customer Orders, Purchase Orders in Infor M3 with Budgets, Events, Contacts, Attendees and Registrations in Cvent in real time, and where both sides accept writes, in both directions. Customer, order, and invoice data maps field by field onto the contacts, audiences, or accounts Cvent works with, so segmentation and personalization run on current purchase history instead of a month-old snapshot. Contact details and consent changes that originate in Cvent flow back onto the record in Infor M3.
The strongest bridge between the two is identity and purchase history, who the customer is and what they have bought, so that is where most of the value sits. Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps the attributes the other has no use for; only the shared records are held in agreement.
Because Infor M3 knows who is already a paying customer, Cvent can exclude them from acquisition campaigns or single them out for renewal and cross-sell.
A person or company's contact details corrected in either system update the other, so marketing and the back office stop maintaining separate versions of the same record.
A first order, a renewal, or a lapsed account recorded in Infor M3 appears in Cvent within seconds, ready to start or stop a lifecycle campaign.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Cvent objects | Infor M3 objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exhibitors Exhibitor and sponsor records; synced to a CRM or database to track booth, sponsorship, and lead-capture data per event. | Items Item master records provide the SKU, unit, and attribute data other systems price and sell against. | Exhibitors is specific to Cvent and Items to Infor M3 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Surveys Survey definitions and responses; read out to a warehouse for post-event feedback analysis alongside attendance data. | Customers Customer master records sync with CRM account records to keep one shared customer file. | Surveys is specific to Cvent and Customers to Infor M3 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Budgets Event budget line items; read into a finance database or ERP to reconcile planned versus actual event spend. | Suppliers Supplier records align procurement tools with the vendors M3 purchases from. | Budgets is specific to Cvent and Suppliers to Infor M3 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Events Top-level event containers created and updated through the Events endpoints; read out for reporting and written to provision events from an external system. | Customer Orders Orders created in commerce or CRM systems land in M3 for fulfillment and invoicing. | Events is specific to Cvent and Customer Orders to Infor M3 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contacts Account-wide people database spanning every event; synced two-way with a CRM or warehouse as the shared audience source of truth via the Create Contacts endpoint. | Purchase Orders PO headers and lines sync outward so buyers and receiving teams see the same demand. | Contacts is specific to Cvent and Purchase Orders to Infor M3 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Attendees and Registrations Per-event registrants; written in from CRM or marketing signup flows via POST /ea/attendees and read back out to a warehouse for attendance and registration-status reporting. | Manufacturing Orders Production order status feeds portals and CRMs so promised dates reflect the shop floor. | Attendees and Registrations is specific to Cvent and Manufacturing Orders to Infor M3 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCvent notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Per-event webhooks push attendee, registration, session, and speaker changes.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Infor M3 through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionInfor M3 notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Event publishing through Infor ION (Business Object Documents), configured in ION, or scheduled polling of API endpoints.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Cvent and Infor M3: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Cvent's Exhibitors and Surveys), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Cvent and Infor M3: Suppress or target existing customers; One customer identity across both systems; Lifecycle triggers from back-office events. Because Infor M3 knows who is already a paying customer, Cvent can exclude them from acquisition campaigns or single them out for renewal and cross-sell.
Cvent: Cvent REST API (JSON over HTTPS at api-platform.cvent.com/ea, paginated list endpoints). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials flow: a client ID and secret are Basic-auth exchanged for a 60-minute bearer token at api-platform.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token; legacy API-key and SOAP/CSN auth are deprecated. Infor M3: REST API (M3 API programs exposed through the Infor ION API gateway). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 via Infor OS / ION API authorization. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Infor M3: Infor ION can publish standard Business Object Documents (for example sales orders and item master changes) as events for downstream consumers, giving an event-based alternative to polling once configured in ION. Cvent: Rate limits are tiered (Free at 1,000 calls/day up to Premium at 500,000 calls/day) and enforced both per-second and as a daily quota that resets at midnight UTC, returning 429 on exhaustion. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Cvent and Infor M3 without custom code.
