Two-way sync
Changes in Clari or Zuora instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Clari and Zuora in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Finance and sales describe the same customers in different systems. Clari knows the relationship: who the contacts are and what is in motion with the account. Zuora knows the money: what was invoiced, what was paid, what is overdue. When the two are connected only by exports, each side works partly blind.
Stacksync links Usage, Order and Amendment, Account (Billing Account), Subscription in Zuora to Activity (Capture), Account field extensions, Opportunity field extensions, Audit Events in Clari with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, updated billing details, invoice status, and payment activity move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. The result is one version of each customer, visible from both sides.
A won opportunity creates or updates the customer in Zuora with the right billing details, so invoicing starts without re-keying.
Invoice and payment status from Zuora appears on the account in Clari, so reps see overdue balances before they promise the next order.
When a contact or address is corrected in Clari, Zuora gets the update before the next invoice goes out.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Clari objects | Zuora objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account field extensions External data points written onto Account records through the ingest API in initial or incremental mode; requires an apikey plus a partnerkey. | Subscription Recurring or usage-based subscription tied to an Account; read for revenue state and written when provisioning or changing plans from a CRM or app. | Account field extensions is specific to Clari and Subscription to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunity field extensions Warehouse-computed fields pushed onto Opportunity records via the ingest API; up to 100 records per request or 10MB bulk files. | Rate Plan and Rate Plan Charge The priced components inside a Subscription; synced so charge amounts, quantities, and effective dates stay aligned with the source system. | Opportunity field extensions is specific to Clari and Rate Plan and Rate Plan Charge to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Audit Events User edits and system events exported with filtering by actor, session, and date range; read-only feed for change tracking and compliance. | Product and Product Rate Plan (Product Catalog) The catalog of sellable products and their pricing; usually mastered elsewhere and written into Zuora, or read to map subscription charges. | Audit Events is specific to Clari and Product and Product Rate Plan (Product Catalog) to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Forecast Exported per forecast tab and fiscal period via async jobs; includes submitted forecast calls, updates, manager adjustments, and CRM totals. Read-only. | Invoice Billing documents generated from rate plan charges and order line items; typically read out into an ERP or GL for revenue recognition and reconciliation. | Forecast is specific to Clari and Invoice to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Quota Quota and quota-history values exported alongside forecast data, scoped by fiscal quarter; read-only, useful for warehouse attainment reporting. | Payment Payment and refund transactions applied against invoices; read for cash application, dunning, and reconciliation reporting in the warehouse. | Quota is specific to Clari and Payment to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunities Retrieved synchronously by ID from GET /opportunity (up to 100 IDs per call) with Clari CRM scoring and field-change history; read-only, mirroring the CRM opportunity Clari sits on. | Usage Metered consumption records; written into Zuora from a metering or warehouse pipeline so consumption-based charges are rated and invoiced. | Opportunities is specific to Clari and Usage to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Clari for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling — reads run as asynchronous export jobs (submit export, poll job status, download results).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Zuora through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionZuora notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Incremental extraction on the indexed UpdatedDate column via ZOQL/AQuA stateful mode (high-water mark), plus Callout Notifications (webhooks) for.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Clari through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Clari and Zuora: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Clari's Account field extensions and Opportunity field extensions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Clari: REST APIs on api.clari.com - Export API (v4, asynchronous bulk jobs for forecast, quota, activity, and audit) and Ingest API (v2, field extensions); Opportunity reads are synchronous via GET /opportunity. Authentication: API token in the apikey header, generated per user in Settings; ingest/partner endpoints also require a partnerkey header, and Copilot endpoints require X-Api-Key and X-Api-Password. Zuora: REST API (v1) with Object Query, Data Query, and AQuA bulk export; legacy SOAP API also available. Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client credentials (bearer token, 3600s expiry); access is governed by the Zuora role of the OAuth client's associated user, with no granular scopes. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Zuora: Concurrency limits apply per tenant: 40 concurrent requests by default, 80 for Object Queries, and 200 for high-volume operations, each doubled for Performance Booster; breaching them returns HTTP 429. Clari: No webhooks or change-data-capture; freshness depends on export cadence, bounded by roughly 1000 exports per rolling 30 days and 3 concurrent jobs per org. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Clari and Zuora without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Clari and Zuora records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Clari and Zuora connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Clari–Zuora integration in-house.
