Two-way sync
Changes in Clari or Ramp instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Clari and Ramp in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Finance and sales describe the same customers in different systems. Clari knows the relationship: who the contacts are and what is in motion with the account. Ramp knows the money: what was invoiced, what was paid, what is overdue. When the two are connected only by exports, each side works partly blind.
Stacksync links Users, Departments, Reimbursements, Bills in Ramp to Opportunities, Activity (Capture), Account field extensions, Opportunity field extensions in Clari with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, updated billing details, invoice status, and payment activity move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. The result is one version of each customer, visible from both sides.
When a contact or address is corrected in Clari, Ramp gets the update before the next invoice goes out.
Finance sees the account owner and relationship history from Clari when chasing a balance, and sales sees that the chase is happening.
A won opportunity creates or updates the customer in Ramp with the right billing details, so invoicing starts without re-keying.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Clari objects | Ramp objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opportunities Retrieved synchronously by ID from GET /opportunity (up to 100 IDs per call) with Clari CRM scoring and field-change history; read-only, mirroring the CRM opportunity Clari sits on. | Users Employee and cardholder records; invited, updated, and deactivated, commonly synced from an HRIS or identity provider. | Opportunities is specific to Clari and Users to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Activity (Capture) Meetings, emails, and attachments captured by Clari and mapped to accounts and opportunities; exported read-only via async activity jobs. | Departments Org groupings for cost-center and GL allocation; pushed from an ERP/HRIS and referenced by cards and transactions. | Activity (Capture) is specific to Clari and Departments to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Account field extensions External data points written onto Account records through the ingest API in initial or incremental mode; requires an apikey plus a partnerkey. | Reimbursements Out-of-pocket expense claims; read for reporting and marked ready-to-sync then synced to the ERP. | Account field extensions is specific to Clari and Reimbursements to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunity field extensions Warehouse-computed fields pushed onto Opportunity records via the ingest API; up to 100 records per request or 10MB bulk files. | Bills Accounts-payable bills; created, updated, approved, and paid, then posted ready-to-sync and synced to accounting. | Opportunity field extensions is specific to Clari and Bills to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Audit Events User edits and system events exported with filtering by actor, session, and date range; read-only feed for change tracking and compliance. | Vendors Supplier records under the accounting namespace; uploaded and updated for AP matching and payments. | Audit Events is specific to Clari and Vendors to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Forecast Exported per forecast tab and fiscal period via async jobs; includes submitted forecast calls, updates, manager adjustments, and CRM totals. Read-only. | Funds (Spend Controls) Spend controls governing card usage; read and created via the funds API to enforce budgets per user, department, or program. | Forecast is specific to Clari and Funds (Spend Controls) to Ramp — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Clari for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling — reads run as asynchronous export jobs (submit export, poll job status, download results).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Ramp through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionRamp notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Signed webhooks (HMAC-SHA256 X-Ramp-Signature) for bill, transaction, reimbursement, vendor, and user events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Clari through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Clari and Ramp with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Clari and Ramp objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Clari and Ramp: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Clari's Opportunities and Activity (Capture)), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Clari and Ramp: Billing detail changes flow back; Collections with context; Where Clari tracks deals: closed-won creates the finance record. When a contact or address is corrected in Clari, Ramp gets the update before the next invoice goes out.
Clari: REST APIs on api.clari.com - Export API (v4, asynchronous bulk jobs for forecast, quota, activity, and audit) and Ingest API (v2, field extensions); Opportunity reads are synchronous via GET /opportunity. Authentication: API token in the apikey header, generated per user in Settings; ingest/partner endpoints also require a partnerkey header, and Copilot endpoints require X-Api-Key and X-Api-Password. Ramp: REST API (Developer API v1). Authentication: OAuth 2.0: exchange client_id/client_secret (HTTP Basic) at api.ramp.com/developer/v1/token for scoped bearer tokens; client_credentials grant for server-to-server and authorization_code for user-delegated access; scopes follow resource:permission (e.g. transactions:read, bills:write, accounting:write). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Ramp: Vendors and GL accounts live under the /accounting namespace keyed to accounting connections and entities, so multi-entity setups are mapped per entity. Clari: Clari is a forecasting/RevOps layer on top of the CRM (usually Salesforce), which stays the opportunity system of record; Clari's own opportunity endpoint is read-only. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Clari and Ramp without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Clari and Ramp records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Clari and Ramp connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Clari–Ramp integration in-house.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
