Two-way sync
Changes in Chargebee or Jumpcloud instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Chargebee and Jumpcloud in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Chargebee runs the money — the ledgers, invoices, budgets, and payments — and every one of those actions is taken by a person with a login. Jumpcloud is where those people and their access actually live: who is employed, what team they belong to, and what they are allowed to do. The two systems rarely share customers or transactions, but they share the one thing that governs both — the user. When that overlap is maintained by hand, a departed employee keeps finance access for weeks and a new hire waits on a ticket to get any.
Stacksync keeps Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices, Credit notes in Chargebee aligned with System Groups, Applications (SSO), Policies, Commands in Jumpcloud, field by field and in real time. A person added, moved, or deactivated on the identity side updates their matching user in the finance system within seconds, with the role or permission set mapped from the group they belong to. Direction is yours to set: lead provisioning from the directory, or let an HR-owned finance record drive the downstream accounts.
For a finance team, that alignment is an audit control rather than a convenience. When the user list in the books matches the identity source of truth, segregation-of-duties and access reviews start from data that is already correct instead of an export that was current last quarter.
Department, manager, and employee identifiers carried in Jumpcloud flow to Chargebee, so expense routing, cost-center allocation, and approval chains use the same org data as the directory.
When a person is deactivated in Jumpcloud, their matching user in Chargebee is disabled in the same motion, so departed employees keep no standing access to financial records.
People, their status, and their contact details stay matched between Chargebee and Jumpcloud, so the finance system's login list reflects who actually works here instead of drifting out of date.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Chargebee objects | Jumpcloud objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customers Billing accounts matched to CRM accounts or users by email or external ID. | Policies Device configuration and MDM policies; read, created from templates, and updated via v2 /policies, then bound to systems and system groups to enforce settings across the fleet. | Customers is specific to Chargebee and Policies to Jumpcloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Subscriptions Recurring billing state (plan, term, status) synced to CRM and product databases. | Commands Scripts and commands run on managed systems; full CRUD via v1 /commands, then triggered on target systems and groups for automation and remediation. | Subscriptions is specific to Chargebee and Commands to Jumpcloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Invoices Issued billing documents synced to accounting and revenue reporting. | Directory Insights events Audit stream of logins and admin actions across SSO, LDAP, RADIUS, systems, and MDM; read-only, queried by POST and used as the change feed and SIEM source. | Invoices is specific to Chargebee and Directory Insights events to Jumpcloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Credit notes Adjustments and refund documents needed for accurate revenue reconciliation. | System Users (Users) Directory user accounts (email, username, attributes, status, MFA, group and app bindings); full CRUD via the v1 /systemusers API - create, update, activate or suspend, and delete to match an HR or identity source. | Credit notes is specific to Chargebee and System Users (Users) to Jumpcloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Items and item prices The product catalog (plans, addons, charges) referenced by every subscription. | User Groups User groups that grant app, LDAP, and RADIUS access; created, updated, and deleted via v2 /usergroups, with membership managed through the graph association endpoints. | Items and item prices is specific to Chargebee and User Groups to Jumpcloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Payment sources Stored payment methods; usually read-only metadata in syncs for compliance reasons. | Systems (devices) Enrolled macOS, Windows, and Linux machines running the JumpCloud agent; agent-enrolled, so the API reads, updates, and deletes systems for inventory and management rather than creating them. | Payment sources is specific to Chargebee and Systems (devices) to Jumpcloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionChargebee notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for all major object events, plus a pollable Events resource that records every change.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Jumpcloud through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Chargebee and Jumpcloud: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Chargebee's Customers and Subscriptions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Chargebee and Jumpcloud: People attributes for allocation and approvals; Where Jumpcloud is the identity source: offboarding reaches the books; One user roster across both systems. Department, manager, and employee identifiers carried in Jumpcloud flow to Chargebee, so expense routing, cost-center allocation, and approval chains use the same org data as the directory.
Chargebee: REST API. Authentication: API key sent via HTTP basic authentication (key as the username), scoped per site with test and live environments. Jumpcloud: JumpCloud REST API - v1 (console.jumpcloud.com/api) for Systems, System Users, and Commands; v2 (/api/v2) for User Groups, System Groups, Applications, Policies, and resource associations; plus the Directory Insights API (api.jumpcloud.com/insights/directory/v1/events) and Webhook Channels for outbound events. Authentication: Admin API key sent in the x-api-key header (keys are prefixed jca_, generated in the console with a 30-365 day expiry, and disabled for admins by default until enabled); an x-org-id header scopes calls to a single organization for MSP multi-tenant admins. System Context authorization (HMAC-signed) also exists for agent-run calls. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Chargebee: Chargebee has two product catalog versions; in the newer model plans, addons, and charges are unified as items with per-currency, per-frequency item prices, and connectors must handle whichever version a site uses. Jumpcloud: JumpCloud rate-limits requests and returns HTTP 429 when they arrive too fast, with no published numeric ceiling; webhook deliveries are retried three times with exponential backoff on 5xx, 408, or 429 responses. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Chargebee and Jumpcloud without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Chargebee and Jumpcloud records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Chargebee and Jumpcloud connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Chargebee–Jumpcloud integration in-house.
