Real-time sync
Changes in BetterContact or Sysaid instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep BetterContact and Sysaid in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
BetterContact is a read-only source: Stacksync reads its data in real time and delivers it into Sysaid, so Sysaid always reflects the current state of BetterContact — without exports, scripts, or schedulers.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Company, Lead Finder Search, Enrichment Request, Enriched Contact in BetterContact with Users, Assets, Configuration Items (CIs), Companies in Sysaid in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Contact and company details corrected in either tool update the other, so nobody works from the old version.
Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| BetterContact objects | Sysaid objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Company Company data returned with each contact: name, domain, HQ location, industry, employee count. | Companies Customer and department organizations that scope tickets and users; mapped to Accounts in a CRM or org tables in a database. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in the writable direction. Custom fields on either side are included in the mapping. | |
| Enriched Contact Verified work emails and mobile numbers with job title, LinkedIn profile, location, and skills. | Assets Hardware and software inventory; read out to a warehouse or written from a discovery or CMDB source of truth. | Enriched Contact is specific to BetterContact and Assets to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Lead Finder Search Prospect discovery by people and company filters, returning enriched lead profiles. | Configuration Items (CIs) CMDB entries and their relationships; synced with an external CMDB or asset database for one inventory view. | Lead Finder Search is specific to BetterContact and Configuration Items (CIs) to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Enrichment Request Batch or single submissions of up to 100 contacts per request for waterfall enrichment. | Custom Fields Org-specific fields on service records, discoverable through the API so mappings can be generated without hardcoding names. | Enrichment Request is specific to BetterContact and Custom Fields to Sysaid — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionBetterContact notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Job-based delivery — enrichment results arrive by webhook push or polling of the results endpoint.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Sysaid through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionSysaid notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks (beta) push sr.created and sr.updated events with changed-field diffs and an X-Sysaid-Signature.
DeliveryBetterContact does not accept inbound record writes, so this direction carries requests rather than records: BetterContact's output flows back as field updates on the originating Sysaid records.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time integration between BetterContact and Sysaid — BetterContact is a read-only source, so data flows from it into the other system: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync, map fields visually, and changes propagate in milliseconds — no code required.
Change detection on BetterContact: Job-based delivery — enrichment results arrive by webhook push or polling of the results endpoint; there is no persistent record store to watch. On Sysaid: Webhooks (beta) push sr.created and sr.updated events with changed-field diffs and an X-Sysaid-Signature; otherwise poll the /sr endpoint filtering on update_time.gte. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the BetterContact side: Company, Lead Finder Search, Enrichment Request, Enriched Contact, plus custom fields where BetterContact exposes them. On the Sysaid side: Users, Assets, Configuration Items (CIs), Companies. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
BetterContact is a read-only source, so this integration runs one-way: Stacksync reads from BetterContact in real time and delivers into Sysaid. Field mapping and monitoring work the same as for two-way pairs.
Common patterns for BetterContact and Sysaid: Handoffs between teams; Where both tools track people or companies: one consistent record; Where one tool produces events: mirror them in the other. When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
BetterContact: Asynchronous REST API: submit contacts, then receive results via webhook or fetch them from a results endpoint. Authentication: API key. Sysaid: REST API (JSON). Authentication: Client-credentials app keys: an application key (clientId/clientSecret) is created via /v1/application-keys, then exchanged at /v1/access-tokens for a bearer token (default 24h, up to 30 days); an x-sysaid-accountid header scopes the account. Legacy V0 uses session-cookie login. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
