Two-way sync
Changes in Recurly or Sage 100 instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Recurly and Sage 100 in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
A dedicated finance tool and an ERP end up side by side for practical reasons: a subsidiary runs lighter software than headquarters, billing runs in a specialist system while the enterprise system holds the wider view, or the company is mid-migration and both are live. Whatever the split, the two systems describe overlapping customers and transactions, and that overlap drifts without a live connection.
Stacksync syncs Plans, Invoices, Transactions, Line Items in Recurly with GL Accounts, Journal Entries, Customers, Vendors in Sage 100 in real time and in both directions. You decide which system wins on which field, and every change made in one is reflected in the other within seconds instead of at the next batch run.
Where both systems keep records of the same organizations, corrections made in either propagate to the other.
Where Recurly serves a business unit and Sage 100 is the group system, transactions and customer records roll up continuously, so consolidation starts from live data.
Invoices and payment activity from the billing side post through to the enterprise system automatically.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Recurly objects | Sage 100 objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Line Items One-time charges and credits on an account outside a subscription; synced for accurate revenue and adjustment reporting. | Purchase Orders Procurement documents read for spend and receiving workflows. | Line Items is specific to Recurly and Purchase Orders to Sage 100 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Coupons and Redemptions Discount definitions and their application to accounts and subscriptions; read for discount and promotion analysis. | GL Accounts Chart of accounts read for mapping transactions in finance integrations. | Coupons and Redemptions is specific to Recurly and GL Accounts to Sage 100 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Billing Info Tokenized payment method (card/ACH) on an account; written when onboarding customers and read for payment-health signals (never stores raw card numbers). | Journal Entries Posted GL activity replicated to warehouses for FP&A. | Billing Info is specific to Recurly and Journal Entries to Sage 100 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Measured Units and Usage Metered-billing units; usage records are posted to a subscription before each bill run for consumption-based pricing. | Customers AR customer master records synced to CRMs for account and credit visibility. | Measured Units and Usage is specific to Recurly and Customers to Sage 100 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Accounts Customer/billing entity records keyed by account_code; the anchor most subscriptions and invoices hang off. Synced two-way with CRM accounts or a customer database. | Vendors AP vendor master records synced with procurement and payment tools. | Accounts is specific to Recurly and Vendors to Sage 100 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Subscriptions Recurring subscription records tied to an Account and a Plan, with state, term, and next-bill date. Core object, synced two-way to drive provisioning and reporting. | Inventory Items Item master with pricing and quantities, synced to e-commerce catalogs. | Subscriptions is specific to Recurly and Inventory Items to Sage 100 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionRecurly notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks (JSON or XML, one format per endpoint) for account, subscription, payment, and invoice events, plus incremental polling of list endpoints.
DeliveryEach detected change is applied to Sage 100 as a row-level write, with types converted between the two schemas.
DetectionStacksync polls Sage 100 for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Scheduled polling.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Recurly through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Recurly and Sage 100: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Recurly's Line Items and Coupons and Redemptions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
On the Recurly side: Plans, Invoices, Transactions, Line Items, plus custom fields where Recurly exposes them. On the Sage 100 side: GL Accounts, Journal Entries, Customers, Vendors. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Recurly and Sage 100: One customer and vendor master; Subsidiary to headquarters; Where Recurly handles billing: invoices land in Sage 100. Where both systems keep records of the same organizations, corrections made in either propagate to the other.
Recurly: REST API (V3, date-versioned; legacy V2 XML API also exists). Authentication: API key via HTTP Basic auth (key as username, blank password); keys are per-site, with separate sandbox and production keys. Sage 100: ODBC (ProvideX driver) for reads; Business Object Interface (BOI) or Sage-provided web services for writes. Authentication: Sage 100 company and user credentials; ODBC DSN credentials for direct reads. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Recurly: List endpoints support incremental pulls via sort=updated_at (or created_at) with begin_time/end_time filters, so polling fetches only records changed since the last run. Sage 100: Writes should go through the Business Object Interface rather than direct file access, so module validation and GL postings are enforced. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Recurly and Sage 100 without custom code.
