Authentication: OAuth 2.0: exchange client_id/client_secret (HTTP Basic) at api.ramp.com/developer/v1/token for scoped bearer tokens; client_credentials grant for server-to-server and authorization_code for user-delegated access; scopes follow resource:permission (e.g. transactions:read, bills:write, accounting:write). Rillet: REST API (OpenAPI-specified, with production and sandbox environments). Authentication: API key generated in Rillet (Organization Setting -> API Access); uncheck Read Only for bidirectional sync, check Read Only for one-way sync. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Ramp: Rate limited to 200 requests per 10-second rolling window per source IP; a 429 is returned on exceed (higher limits available on request), so historical backfills must be paced with keyset pagination. Rillet: The REST API authenticates with API keys and publishes an OpenAPI specification, with separate production and sandbox environments. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Ramp and Rillet without custom code.
