Two-way sync
Changes in Pendo or Seismic instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Pendo and Seismic in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Pendo turns data into dashboards, cohorts, and metrics; Seismic is where customers, contacts, deals, and activity actually live and change. The two meet wherever a number is really about a specific account, segment, or stage — yet most teams feed the CRM into analytics as a nightly extract or a hand-maintained connector, so the reporting lags the business and can't be sliced by the customers and segments that matter.
Stacksync syncs Digital Sales Rooms, Reporting Activities, Library Content, Content Versions from Seismic into Pendo field by field and within seconds, so every dashboard and cohort runs on current records instead of a stale copy. Because the connection runs both ways, the cohorts, scores, and metrics computed in Pendo write back to fields in Seismic, landing where the people working accounts can see them. You decide which system owns which fields; Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Cohorts, scores, and computed metrics from Pendo sync onto fields in Seismic, putting the analysis where reps and owners actually work the accounts.
The same account or person is keyed consistently in both systems, so a profile or row in Pendo lines up with the contact or account in Seismic.
A continuously synced copy of Seismic's records and activity in Pendo keeps a queryable history even as records change or age out of the CRM.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Pendo objects | Seismic objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Features / Pages / Guides (metadata) Definitions of tagged UI elements listed through the entity endpoints; read-only reference used to label and join the event streams. | Users User records managed through SCIM 2.0 and legacy user endpoints; created, updated, and deactivated for provisioning sync. | Features / Pages / Guides (metadata) is specific to Pendo and Users to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Visitors End-user records with agent-collected and custom fields; queried through the Aggregation API and enriched with custom fields written back via the Metadata API. | User Groups Group definitions and membership that govern content access; synced from an IdP or HRIS to keep permissions current. | Visitors is specific to Pendo and User Groups to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Accounts Company/workspace records that roll visitors up to an account dimension; readable via Aggregation and a write target for custom fields (plan, ARR, health) via the Metadata API. | Teamsites Tenant-scoped workspace partitions organizing Library content, permissions, and config; scoped by teamSiteId on most content calls. | Accounts is specific to Pendo and Teamsites to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Feature Events Click/interaction events on tagged features, read-only through the Aggregation API over an event-time window and joined to the Feature definitions. | LiveSend Links Trackable content-share links created via the engagement API; their open and view engagement is read back through Reporting. | Feature Events is specific to Pendo and LiveSend Links to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Page Events Page-view events for tagged pages; read-only via the Aggregation API, used for adoption and path analysis in a warehouse. | Digital Sales Rooms Buyer-facing microsites (DSRs); lifecycle and content-change events surface via webhooks, currently marked Early Access. | Page Events is specific to Pendo and Digital Sales Rooms to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Guide Events Guide seen/advanced/dismissed and step events for in-app walkthroughs; read-only through the Aggregation API to measure onboarding flow adoption. | Reporting Activities Content-interaction, engagement, and usage analytics extracted read-only through the ETL-oriented Reporting API v2 for a warehouse. | Guide Events is specific to Pendo and Reporting Activities to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Pendo for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling - reads query the Aggregation API over event-time windows.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Seismic through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionSeismic notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks for content, version, user, group, workflow, DSR, and LiveSend events.

Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Pendo and Seismic.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Pendo and Seismic with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Pendo and Seismic objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Pendo and Seismic: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Pendo's Features / Pages / Guides (metadata) and Visitors), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Pendo: Pendo has no data-change webhooks; syncs poll the Aggregation API over event-time windows, and heavy queries can return 429, so wide backfills are paced and time-windowed. Seismic: Rate limits are enforced per tier over a rolling 60-second window; exceeding them returns HTTP 429 with an indication of when to retry. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Pendo and Seismic without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Pendo and Seismic records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Pendo and Seismic connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Pendo–Seismic integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Pendo and Seismic. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Pendo: Polling - reads query the Aggregation API over event-time windows; no change-data-capture feed and no data-change webhooks. Writes go through the Metadata API on demand. On Seismic: Webhooks for content, version, user, group, workflow, DSR, and LiveSend events; the Reporting API v2 is polled for batch historical extracts (ETL-oriented, not high-frequency). Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
