Two-way sync
Changes in Notion or Ukg Pro instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Notion and Ukg Pro in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Each tool in Notion keeps its own list of who can use it: users, members, or agents, along with the team they sit on and whether they are still active. Ukg Pro is the authoritative record of the same people as employees, with their department, manager, and employment status. When those two are connected only by manual account admin or a periodic export, the work tools drift: new hires wait days for access, team and manager changes never catch up, and people who have left keep standing accounts.
Stacksync syncs Comments, Files and attachments, Pages, Databases / Data sources in Notion with Employment Details, Job / Position History, Compensation Details, Payroll (Pay Statements, Direct Deposit, Earnings) in Ukg Pro bi-directionally and in real time. A person added, moved, or offboarded in Ukg Pro creates or updates the matching user in Notion within seconds, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution in place of spreadsheets and one-off account changes. Where Notion captures details of its own, such as a corrected contact or a login identity, those can flow back to Ukg Pro in whichever direction you configure.
Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps its own extras; only the shared facts, who a person is, which team they belong to, and whether their access should be on, are held in agreement.
When someone is marked as leaving in Ukg Pro, the matching account in Notion is deactivated or flagged, so departures do not leave open access behind.
A person's name, title, contact details, or status corrected in either system updates the other, so both sides stop maintaining separate copies of the same person.
Department, team, and reporting-line changes from Ukg Pro keep the groups, queues, or projects in Notion assigned to the right people.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Notion objects | Ukg Pro objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pages The core content unit and also every row of a database; synced two-way as records, with typed properties mapping to table columns. | Payroll (Pay Statements, Direct Deposit, Earnings) Pay statements, direct-deposit accounts, and earnings history; read-only pay data replicated into finance and warehouse systems for labor-cost reporting. | Pages is specific to Notion and Payroll (Pay Statements, Direct Deposit, Earnings) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Databases / Data sources Collections of pages with a typed property schema. Since the 2025-09-03 API a database is a container holding one or more data sources; syncs target a specific data_source_id. | Terminations Termination transactions posted with a terminationDate and a reason code that must match the tenant's configured reason table; drives account deprovisioning. | Databases / Data sources is specific to Notion and Terminations to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Properties Typed columns on a page — title, rich_text, number, select, multi_select, date, people, relation, status, checkbox, URL. Read and written both ways. | Configuration Setup (Code Tables) Reference data such as jobs, locations, positions, earnings, and deduction codes; used to resolve and validate field values when mapping records during sync. | Properties is specific to Notion and Configuration Setup (Code Tables) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Blocks The page body — paragraphs, headings, to-dos, tables — nested as children and fetched recursively, separate from a page's properties. | Time & Attendance (UTA) Timekeeping and worked-hours data exposed by the UTA services; synced into scheduling, payroll, or workforce-analytics databases. | Blocks is specific to Notion and Time & Attendance (UTA) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Formula and Rollup properties Values computed by Notion from other fields; read-only, so they are pulled out for reporting but never written back. | Employee (Person Details) Core worker record with demographics and identifiers; read by listing employee IDs then fetching each profile, and created on hire via the personnel/onboarding endpoints. | Formula and Rollup properties is specific to Notion and Employee (Person Details) to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Users Workspace members and bots referenced by people properties; read-only — users cannot be created or invited through the API. | Employment Details Employment status, hire and service dates, and company assignment; the record that drives active/terminated state for provisioning downstream. | Users is specific to Notion and Employment Details to Ukg Pro — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionNotion notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Workspace webhooks (page.created, page.content_updated, data_source.schema_updated, comment.created.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Ukg Pro through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Notion and Ukg Pro with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Notion and Ukg Pro objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Notion and Ukg Pro: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Notion's Pages and Databases / Data sources), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Notion and Ukg Pro records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Notion and Ukg Pro connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Notion–Ukg Pro integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Notion and Ukg Pro. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Notion: Workspace webhooks (page.created, page.content_updated, data_source.schema_updated, comment.created; HMAC-SHA256 signed) plus polling on each page's last_edited_time. On Ukg Pro: No CDC stream. UKG Pro publishes Pro HCM Webhook Events for changes such as new hire, employee and job detail changes, termination, and PTO, which Stacksync subscribes to for near-real-time triggers; bulk and historical loads use paged reads with each service's modified-since filters. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the Notion side: Comments, Files and attachments, Pages, Databases / Data sources, plus custom fields where Notion exposes them. On the Ukg Pro side: Employment Details, Job / Position History, Compensation Details, Payroll (Pay Statements, Direct Deposit, Earnings). Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
