Two-way sync
Changes in Marketo or Reltio instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Marketo and Reltio in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Marketo holds the people, audiences, and campaign activity that marketing runs on, but that data sits behind interfaces built for marketers, not for your internal systems. Engineers and analysts who need contacts, list membership, or engagement, for reporting, attribution, or product logic, end up writing integration code against a rate-limited API and maintaining it forever. Meanwhile the customer and usage data marketers want for targeting already lives in Reltio, hard to get into campaigns without manual exports.
Stacksync mirrors Programs and Program Members, Smart Campaigns, Leads, Companies from Marketo into Matches (Potential Matches), Activity Log, Data Change Requests (DCR), Reference Data (RDM) in Reltio field by field, in real time, and in both directions. Marketing records become rows your code can query and join with product and customer data; audiences and attributes computed in Reltio, from usage, orders, or account status, sync back into Marketo to drive campaigns and ads, with Marketo kept authoritative for engagement. You decide which side owns which fields, and Stacksync resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Opens, clicks, sends, RSVPs, or ad activity from Marketo land in Reltio beside the matching customer record, ready for reporting and revenue attribution.
A new lead, form fill, or list change in Marketo arrives as a row change in Reltio, so scoring, jobs, and notifications run in the tooling your team already uses.
Lifecycle stage, subscription status, or plan maintained on either side stays current on the other, ending exports and dual data entry.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Marketo objects | Reltio objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Static Lists Named static lists; read via /rest/v1/lists.json, with Leads added or removed via POST and DELETE on /rest/v1/lists/{listId}/leads.json to control campaign membership from lifecycle logic computed downstream. | Data Change Requests (DCR) Stewardship change proposals routed through approval workflows; read and written to feed or track governed edits to golden records. | Static Lists is specific to Marketo and Data Change Requests (DCR) to Reltio — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Programs and Program Members Marketing programs read via /rest/v1/programs.json; program membership and member status managed via /rest/v1/leads/programs/{programId}.json and the program status endpoint for acquisition and attribution reporting. | Reference Data (RDM) Managed lookup and reference values (country codes, standardized values, hierarchies); read and updated so downstream systems share consistent reference data. | Programs and Program Members is specific to Marketo and Reference Data (RDM) to Reltio — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Smart Campaigns Automation flows read via /rest/v1/campaigns.json and run against a set of Leads by requesting a trigger campaign with POST /rest/v1/campaigns/{id}/trigger.json, so downstream logic can push Leads into a Marketo flow. | Entities Golden records for each configured entity type (for example Organization, Individual/Contact, Location, or Product); full CRUD via /entities, so records are created, updated, and deleted, and Reltio matches and merges them by survivorship rules. | Smart Campaigns is specific to Marketo and Entities to Reltio — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Leads Core person records (called Leads/People), deduped on email address by default or a configured dedupe field; read via GET /rest/v1/leads.json with a filterType, upserted via POST /rest/v1/leads.json (action createOrUpdate/createOnly/updateOnly), bulk-imported via CSV through POST /bulk/v1/leads.json, and bulk-exported via /bulk/v1/leads/export/create.json. | Relations Typed relationships between two entities (affiliations, hierarchies, employment, households); read and written via /relations to keep account hierarchies and affiliation graphs aligned across systems. | Leads is specific to Marketo and Relations to Reltio — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Companies Company records linked to Leads via a company link field; read and upserted through /rest/v1/companies.json, typically mastered in a CRM or ERP and written into Marketo for account context. | Crosswalks Per-entity references to the source systems and their record IDs; written when loading records so Reltio ties each source contribution to a golden record, and read to trace lineage back to origin systems. | Companies is specific to Marketo and Crosswalks to Reltio — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunities and Opportunity Roles Revenue objects synced via /rest/v1/opportunities.json and /rest/v1/opportunities/roles.json; roles associate an opportunity with a Lead, so pipeline data can drive nurture and scoring. | Interactions Transactional or event records linked to entities (purchases, visits, activities); read and written via /interactions to enrich profiles and power 360-degree reporting. | Opportunities and Opportunity Roles is specific to Marketo and Interactions to Reltio — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Marketo for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling: Get Lead Changes and Get Lead Activities from a paging token seeded by a sinceDatetime, plus Get Deleted Leads, or Bulk Extract filtered on.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Reltio through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionStacksync polls Reltio for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling the REST API on updateTime (epoch-ms), for example filter=gt(updateTime,<timestamp>), for entities and relations changed past a stored.

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Marketo–Reltio connection.
Changes in Marketo or Reltio instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Marketo or Reltio data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Marketo or Reltio record.
Track your Marketo ⇄ Reltio sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Marketo and Reltio.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Marketo and Reltio with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Marketo and Reltio objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Marketo and Reltio: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Marketo's Static Lists and Programs and Program Members), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Reltio: The API uses OAuth 2.0: a bearer token from auth.reltio.com/oauth/token (client-credentials or password grant) is sent as Authorization: Bearer; access tokens expire after about 60 minutes and are renewed with a refresh token. Marketo: Interactive calls are limited to 100 per 20 seconds (error 606) and 10 concurrent calls (error 615) per instance, neither of which can be increased, under a default 50,000-calls-per-day quota that resets at midnight CST. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Marketo and Reltio without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Marketo and Reltio records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Marketo and Reltio connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Marketo–Reltio integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Marketo and Reltio. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Marketo: Polling: Get Lead Changes and Get Lead Activities from a paging token seeded by a sinceDatetime, plus Get Deleted Leads, or Bulk Extract filtered on createdAt/updatedAt. Marketo's Webhooks are Smart Campaign flow-step outbound HTTP calls to a URL, not a general record-change subscription, so there is no push feed of arbitrary CRUD. On Reltio: Polling the REST API on updateTime (epoch-ms), for example filter=gt(updateTime,<timestamp>), for entities and relations changed past a stored watermark. Reltio has no CDC log external tools consume; separately, Reltio's event streaming can publish entity change events (created, changed, removed) to a customer-configured message queue (Amazon SQS/SNS, Google Pub/Sub, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka), which is a queue feed rather than HTTP webhooks. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
