Two-way sync
Changes in Ironclad or Microsoft Dynamics 365 instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365 in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Webhooks, Workflow Approvals, Signature Packets, Workflow Documents in Ironclad with Activities, Custom Tables, Accounts, Contacts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
Information that originates in Ironclad stays current in Microsoft Dynamics 365 instead of going stale after a one-time paste.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Contact and company details corrected in either tool update the other, so nobody works from the old version.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Ironclad objects | Microsoft Dynamics 365 objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Records The Repository of executed and stored contracts with metadata (value, counterparty, key dates, type) and attachments; full create, read, update, and delete so signed-contract data and PDFs sync to a warehouse, ERP, or CRM. | Products Catalog records aligned with ERP item masters. | Records is specific to Ironclad and Products to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Entities Structured records for counterparties and other parties linked to workflows and records; read and written to keep company and vendor master data aligned with a CRM or ERP. | Activities Emails, calls, and tasks captured for engagement analytics. | Entities is specific to Ironclad and Activities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Obligations Post-signature commitments, milestones, and renewal dates tied to contracts; synced two-way to drive renewal, compliance, and finance reporting in downstream systems. | Custom Tables Dataverse tables that carry business-specific entities through the same API surface. | Obligations is specific to Ironclad and Custom Tables to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Webhooks Event subscriptions that push workflow, approval, signature, document, and comment changes to Stacksync in near real time; created, listed, and deleted through the API across 40+ event types. | Accounts Company records synced bi-directionally with ERPs, databases, and billing systems. | Webhooks is specific to Ironclad and Accounts to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workflow Approvals Per-workflow approval requests and their state; read to report approval status and cycle time, and status changes arrive live through the workflow_approval_status_changed event. | Contacts Person records kept consistent with marketing, support, and data-warehouse copies. | Workflow Approvals is specific to Ironclad and Contacts to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Signature Packets The e-signature packets on a workflow (sent, signatures collected, fully signed); read to track signing progress, with packet events delivered by webhook for real-time status. | Leads Inbound records enriched and routed from external sources into sales queues. | Signature Packets is specific to Ironclad and Leads to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionIronclad notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Native webhook subscriptions (POST /webhooks) fire on 40+ workflow, approval, signature, document, and comment events, and Ironclad retries a failing.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Microsoft Dynamics 365 through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionMicrosoft Dynamics 365 pushes changes as they happen — webhook events backed by change data capture. Change data capture (CDC) via the Dynamics 365 Change Tracking feature.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365 with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365 objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Ironclad's Records and Entities), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Ironclad: The Public API is write-capable: you can launch and bulk-launch workflows, update workflow attributes, and create, update, or delete records, entities, and obligations - it is not a read-only export. Microsoft Dynamics 365: Authorization may be blocked by a 'Need admin approval for this app' screen requiring a Microsoft directory admin to grant consent to the Stacksync app before syncing can begin. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365 without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365 records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365 connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Ironclad–Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Ironclad and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Ironclad: Native webhook subscriptions (POST /webhooks) fire on 40+ workflow, approval, signature, document, and comment events, and Ironclad retries a failing endpoint up to 10 times over about 13.6 hours with exponential backoff. Otherwise poll the list endpoints by last-updated. There is no database change-data-capture log. On Microsoft Dynamics 365: Change data capture (CDC) via the Dynamics 365 Change Tracking feature; standard entities have change tracking enabled by default, custom entities require enabling "Track Changes" in Power Apps/Dataverse table properties. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
