Two-way sync
Changes in Gainsight or Hibob instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Gainsight and Hibob in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Each tool in Gainsight keeps its own list of who can use it: users, members, or agents, along with the team they sit on and whether they are still active. Hibob is the authoritative record of the same people as employees, with their department, manager, and employment status. When those two are connected only by manual account admin or a periodic export, the work tools drift: new hires wait days for access, team and manager changes never catch up, and people who have left keep standing accounts.
Stacksync syncs Relationship, CTA (Call to Action), Scorecard Fact, Timeline Activity in Gainsight with Documents, Named lists, People (Employees), Employment in Hibob bi-directionally and in real time. A person added, moved, or offboarded in Hibob creates or updates the matching user in Gainsight within seconds, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution in place of spreadsheets and one-off account changes. Where Gainsight captures details of its own, such as a corrected contact or a login identity, those can flow back to Hibob in whichever direction you configure.
Because the sync is field-level, each system keeps its own extras; only the shared facts, who a person is, which team they belong to, and whether their access should be on, are held in agreement.
When someone is marked as leaving in Hibob, the matching account in Gainsight is deactivated or flagged, so departures do not leave open access behind.
A person's name, title, contact details, or status corrected in either system updates the other, so both sides stop maintaining separate copies of the same person.
Department, team, and reporting-line changes from Hibob keep the groups, queues, or projects in Gainsight assigned to the right people.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Gainsight objects | Hibob objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Company Customer/account master in Gainsight CS; two-way synced with CRM and warehouse customer tables to keep ARR, owner, and renewal fields aligned. | Lifecycle Hire, termination, and leave status changes at /people/{id}/lifecycle; read-only and the source of lifecycle webhook events. | Company is specific to Gainsight and Lifecycle to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Person (People) Contacts associated to companies through the Company Person junction; synced two-way with CRM contacts and warehouse person records. | Documents Employee documents accessed under the Docs API; gated behind the Documents permission granted per service user. | Person (People) is specific to Gainsight and Documents to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Relationship Sub-units within a company for multi-product or multi-team accounts; synced so each maps to the right contract in billing or an ERP. | Named lists Dropdown option lists such as departments and sites used to resolve field values when mapping People records during sync. | Relationship is specific to Gainsight and Named lists to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| CTA (Call to Action) Risk and expansion alerts that drive CSM plays; often synced to ticketing or project tools so follow-up work is tracked where teams operate. | People (Employees) Core employee records with out-of-the-box and custom fields; read via POST /people/search, created and updated through the /people endpoints. | CTA (Call to Action) is specific to Gainsight and People (Employees) to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Scorecard Fact Health scores and measures per Company or Relationship; usage metrics from a warehouse are written in so scores reflect live telemetry. | Employment Historical table of job terms, contract, and working pattern under /people/{id}/employment; full CRUD, entries keyed by effectiveDate. | Scorecard Fact is specific to Gainsight and Employment to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Timeline Activity Logged calls, emails, and notes; usually read out into a reporting database for QBR and churn analysis. | Work Reporting line, department, site, and title under /people/{id}/work; drives the org chart and is synced two-way to directories. | Timeline Activity is specific to Gainsight and Work to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Gainsight for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on the ModifiedDate (GS Modified Date) system field, which is filterable and sortable on every object.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Hibob through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionHibob notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks fire for employee created/updated/deleted, table-entry created/updated, time off, and lifecycle events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gainsight through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Gainsight and Hibob with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Gainsight and Hibob objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Gainsight and Hibob: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Gainsight's Company and Person (People)), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Gainsight and Hibob. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Gainsight: Polling on the ModifiedDate (GS Modified Date) system field, which is filterable and sortable on every object; Rules Engine Real-Time Rules can optionally push specific object events (e.g., a Company stage change) to an external endpoint. On Hibob: Webhooks fire for employee created/updated/deleted, table-entry created/updated, time off, and lifecycle events; the employee.updated payload flags which fields changed and Bob recommends an API call for the full record. There is no CDC stream, and deleting a table entry fires no webhook (Bob has no table-entry deletion event). Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the Gainsight side: Relationship, CTA (Call to Action), Scorecard Fact, Timeline Activity, plus custom fields where Gainsight exposes them. On the Hibob side: Documents, Named lists, People (Employees), Employment. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Gainsight and Hibob: Offboarding: no standing access after a departure; One employee directory; Org and team structure kept current. When someone is marked as leaving in Hibob, the matching account in Gainsight is deactivated or flagged, so departures do not leave open access behind.
