Two-way sync
Changes in Eloqua or Insightly instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Eloqua and Insightly in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Insightly owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Eloqua runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Contacts, Organizations, Leads, Opportunities in Insightly with Forms and Form Submits, Contact Lists and Segments, Contacts, Accounts in Eloqua field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — Insightly can own account and opportunity status while Eloqua owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Eloqua post back to the contact or account in Insightly, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Where Eloqua builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in Insightly, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Eloqua objects | Insightly objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contacts Core person records, keyed on email address as the unique identifier; imported/exported via the Bulk API and upserted on email, synced two-way with CRM, warehouse, and app databases. | Contacts Person records sync with marketing and support tools to keep one contact list. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Emails Email creative and email-group assets managed via the Application REST API; usually read for reporting rather than written by a sync. | Organizations Company records map to accounts in ERPs and other CRMs. | Emails is specific to Eloqua and Organizations to Insightly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Forms and Form Submits Form definitions and their submission data, accessed through the Application REST API; submissions read out into a warehouse for lead capture and analysis. | Leads Unqualified prospects sync in from forms and enrichment sources before conversion. | Forms and Form Submits is specific to Eloqua and Leads to Insightly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contact Lists and Segments Shared lists (static) and segments (dynamic audiences); Contacts are added to or removed from shared lists based on lifecycle stage computed downstream. | Opportunities Pipeline records feed forecasting and warehouse-based reporting. | Contact Lists and Segments is specific to Eloqua and Opportunities to Insightly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Accounts Company records linked to Contacts via the account-linkage field; moved through the Bulk API and typically mastered in a CRM or ERP and written into Eloqua. | Projects Delivery records created from won opportunities sync with PSA and task tools. | Accounts is specific to Eloqua and Projects to Insightly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Custom Data Objects Auxiliary data tables (CDOs) linked to Contacts for records like event registrations or purchases; synced via the Bulk API so nurture campaigns can branch on them. | Tasks Activity records keep follow-ups consistent across systems. | Custom Data Objects is specific to Eloqua and Tasks to Insightly — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Eloqua for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling via Bulk API exports filtered on a contact/account modified-date field using EML filter syntax.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Insightly through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Eloqua and Insightly: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Eloqua's Contacts and Emails), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
On the Insightly side: Contacts, Organizations, Leads, Opportunities, plus custom fields where Insightly exposes them. On the Eloqua side: Forms and Form Submits, Contact Lists and Segments, Contacts, Accounts. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Eloqua and Insightly: Where Eloqua captures engagement: activity lands on the record; Lead and lifecycle status agree; Segments and audiences follow the CRM. Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Eloqua post back to the contact or account in Insightly, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Eloqua: Bulk API 2.0 (contacts, accounts, custom data objects, activities) plus Application REST API (campaigns, emails, forms, lists). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code or Resource Owner Password Credentials grant; Client Credentials not supported) or HTTP Basic Auth with siteName + username + password; the instance base URL must first be discovered via the login.eloqua.com/id endpoint. Insightly: REST API (versioned). Authentication: API key sent via HTTP Basic authentication. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Insightly: The API authenticates with a per-user API key passed over HTTP Basic authentication rather than an OAuth flow. Eloqua: The Bulk API is an asynchronous staging workflow (define a sync definition, stage the data, sync, poll status, then retrieve) rather than an instantaneous call. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Eloqua and Insightly without custom code.
