Two-way sync
Changes in Cvent or Rockset instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Cvent and Rockset in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Rockset is where your team models customers, product usage, and revenue into trusted tables; Cvent runs the campaigns, audiences, and messages that reach those people. The two overlap wherever the same person, account, or segment matters to both, and when the bridge between them is a nightly export or a hand-built list, marketing targets stale data while analytics never sees what the campaign returned.
Stacksync syncs Integrations, Virtual Instances, Collections, Documents in Rockset with Exhibitors, Surveys, Budgets, Events in Cvent field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — a computed score or segment can flow out to Cvent while sends, opens, and conversions flow back to Rockset — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Unsubscribes, bounces, and consent or opt-out flags held in either system propagate to the other, so no one is messaged after opting out and Rockset holds the current state for auditing.
Product-usage counts, plan tier, region, or account owner computed in Rockset appear on the matching record in Cvent, so targeting, routing, and personalization use up-to-date context.
A segment or score built in Rockset — high-intent accounts, churn risk, a lifetime-value tier — lands as an audience or contact field in Cvent, so campaigns target the people your data actually points to instead of a static export.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Cvent objects | Rockset objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contacts Account-wide people database spanning every event; synced two-way with a CRM or warehouse as the shared audience source of truth via the Create Contacts endpoint. | Workspaces Namespaces that group collections and query lambdas per team or environment. | Contacts is specific to Cvent and Workspaces to Rockset — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Attendees and Registrations Per-event registrants; written in from CRM or marketing signup flows via POST /ea/attendees and read back out to a warehouse for attendance and registration-status reporting. | Query Lambdas Named, parameterized SQL queries invoked over REST to read synced data. | Attendees and Registrations is specific to Cvent and Query Lambdas to Rockset — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Sessions Agenda items within an event; listed or created through the API and synced so session-level attendance feeds reporting tables. | Aliases Stable names that point at collections, used to swap datasets without changing queries. | Sessions is specific to Cvent and Aliases to Rockset — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Speakers Speaker records tied to an event; synced two-way with a speaker database or CMS, with an updatedDate on each record for incremental pulls. | Integrations Managed source connections (databases, streams, object storage) feeding collections. | Speakers is specific to Cvent and Integrations to Rockset — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Exhibitors Exhibitor and sponsor records; synced to a CRM or database to track booth, sponsorship, and lead-capture data per event. | Virtual Instances Isolated compute units that separate ingest from query workloads. | Exhibitors is specific to Cvent and Virtual Instances to Rockset — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Surveys Survey definitions and responses; read out to a warehouse for post-event feedback analysis alongside attendance data. | Collections Schemaless document containers that ingested and synced records land in. | Surveys is specific to Cvent and Collections to Rockset — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCvent notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Per-event webhooks push attendee, registration, session, and speaker changes.
DeliveryEach detected change is applied to Rockset as a row-level write, with types converted between the two schemas.
DetectionStacksync polls Rockset for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling via SQL queries on timestamp fields.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Cvent through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Cvent–Rockset connection.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Cvent and Rockset with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Cvent and Rockset objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Cvent and Rockset: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Cvent's Contacts and Attendees and Registrations), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Cvent and Rockset: Suppression and consent stay aligned; Enrich records with warehouse context; Activate a modeled audience. Unsubscribes, bounces, and consent or opt-out flags held in either system propagate to the other, so no one is messaged after opting out and Rockset holds the current state for auditing.
Cvent: Cvent REST API (JSON over HTTPS at api-platform.cvent.com/ea, paginated list endpoints). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials flow: a client ID and secret are Basic-auth exchanged for a 60-minute bearer token at api-platform.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token; legacy API-key and SOAP/CSN auth are deprecated. Rockset: REST API (SQL over HTTP, plus a document Write API). Authentication: API key. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Rockset: Query Lambdas expose versioned, parameterized SQL as REST endpoints, a common read surface for applications. Cvent: List endpoints are paginated and return a paging object, so large audiences must be walked page by page rather than pulled in a single call. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Cvent and Rockset without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Cvent and Rockset records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Cvent and Rockset connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Cvent–Rockset integration in-house.
